are those black cobra rims :drool powder coated?
what size are they? (sorry to jack thread...lol)
17"s and I'm pretty sure they are just the AM ones. (on the car when I bought it)

go to summit web site and order the vortech supercharger for $3000 includes everything. thats what i did when i bought my gt. I did not want to mess with spending all that money on little boltons and only gain a little hosepower so i went and bought the blower well worth it.

Good question for the OP.

The Shaker hood is a bit pricey but would definitely LOOK KILLER especially if you coupled it with a mach1 lip and mach1 grill delete.

As for your next purchase I would say...

-Tuner
-Drop
-Gears

Tune for the CAI and exhaust you currently have on the car, drop it to definitely get it looking ALOT better since our cars ride high as hell stock and then back it by gears since they are the biggest bang for the buck bolt on you could probably get.

3.73's or 4.10's would be a HUGE improvement over the stock 3.27's!
Sounds about right. Im stuck debating between the 3.73 and 4.10 though.

Whats the difference between the o/r and the catbacks?

I thought about doing that, but its still about another $1,000. Would sound a lot better but it'll definitely be happening some time over the summer. Sort of on a limited budget atm. Was the charger hard to install?

Ima have to get this some time . That's a good deal I'd say, good luck OP with ur mods. Just know you'll be buying these bolt-ons and really get no where with them because our 4.6 engines do not react to bolt-ons good.

Really? Might be getting the charger instead then lol. Still going to have to get the tuner though. Getting the frame connectors as well just to make the ride a bit better.

did you upgrade the internals? rod, pistons, crank and etc? forged?

New MMR Long block!!!!! Lol. That should be your next move and your best move.
Your first question that you need to ask yourself is "What is my goal for this car? Am i just looking for something to build and toss to the side and sell or am I keeping it for ever? Personally im already too deep and will never get my money back out of this car so i decided to make it a life long project type deal, at this point dont cheap out because its for yourself and the long run.
Dont **** around too much with small **** now, you will only kick yourself later if you have a blown up motor with a bunch of small add ons. Go big! Think BOTTOM UP!
- Max Motorsports Full Lengths
- Built bottom end
- Cooling
- Supercharge that pig

Just my opinion from a guy who bought a 2000 GT used that came with problems, i eventually blew the motor up internally via a long term head gasket blow/ Overheating. In the end i have an MMR 4.75L (750SE) I still need a supercharger but damn i wish i just made the jump and concentrated on building a bulletproof motor from day one. Instead i was forced when she died on me but i tell you there is soooo much confidence and peace of mind in having a strongly built motor that is made to handle the abuse we all would like to chuck at it.

I disagree. But then I didn't have your problems. I bolted a supercharger on a stock motor and 80,000 miles later its still running strong.

My opinion is you can spend $5,000-6,000 to build the bottom and still have maybe 250-280 rwhp or you can spend $5,000-6,000 to add a supercharger and run 350-380 rwhp. It depends on what you want. If you don't get greedy then the stock motor will last.

ya but then your only running 350-380 rwhp lol if your going to supercharge then ****ing SUPERCHARGE! you could have hit those numbers buying a better car or building your motor up with a high compression build, i would not want to throw down thousands for a supercharger and only gain 100hp because thats all my shitty stock motor could take. On the other hand with my 4.75 i plan on hitting around 600hp and being ballz to the wall happy.

To the OP, I have been down this road for some time and have just now settled to a point where I am happy with my car the way it is. What we want to know is are these questions:

Is the car a Daily Driver or Weekend Cruizer/Drag Queen?
What are you power goals or ET at the track?
Is your car 5-speed or Auto?
Are you experienced at working on your car?

Everyone will have there opinion on mods but the fact is, it's all about your budget and what your wanting to do with the car? Buying gears is a great idea if your looking to stay NA or Mild supercharged.

Not planning on selling it. Ever. I'm kind of sticking with smaller stuff. I do want a supercharger, but i figured a CAI, tuner, and frame connectors should be a good first start. Probably going to end up going to the 3.73 gears as well, and don't have any long term plans on rebuilding other parts of engine like cams/headers/etc. Mostly because i don't know how :dunce But i must say, your engine looks sexy as hell :naughty:

Yours is stock other than a charger? I think my plans are just going to be CAI, tuner, and frame connectors, along with a supercharger and 3.73 gears later.
