I didn't do this to my GT but on my v6 I remember doing it. Buy two small hose clamps at the hardware store, and one nylon spacer (1"). Grab a hack saw and cut into the side of the spacer so that you can fit it over the throttle cable. It's easier to do this with the spacer held in place by table vice or vice-grips. Once done, fit over the hose clamps and clamp each side down tightly with a screw driver. A nut-driver will give you a bit more torque if you have one, which I prefer when tightening hose clamps.

Ok thanks, do you know of a tutorial with pictures?

Noticeable change? And how hard is that plastic peice you all are using, Im just trying to see what I have in my garage to use, I have a very hard fuel line we used when I race go karts, I've used it to pull spark plugs out cause I didn't have a magnetic socket

I used zip ties and some airline I had laying around.
No problems. :dunno
