Bought a set of J&M SS rear brake lines.
Pretty sure I have the wrong ones.

First pic is the new SS line:

From whats on the car now, it looks like the new piece should have thatdual inlet, block, with the one brake line coming out the top...

am I missing something?

I would like to know this also, I will have some coming soon.

I can't give you any part #'s but did you order the right one for your car. When I ordered mine (Russell), you could order for ABS or non ABS. I just did mine and I only had one fitting on all 4 corners. Mine was for an ABS equipped car.

I do have ABS.
I bought them like 2 months ago, and just went install them today.
Cant find the receipt, so, not sure what part number I ordered @#$%^&

Thats odd. So, we both have abs, and your were the same on all 4 corners?

You did not have the triangle shaped connector like mine?? You sure?

damn all i have is front SS lines...although it'll be good to get the answer to this for when i order mine

i believe at advance they have an adapter that'll fit that SS line to work..to convert it to a 1 in 2 out setup like in the stock setup

I just looked, definitely no Y-fitting in the back on either side, mine is a 2001, but I don't think there should be any difference. Definitely 4 single fittings all-around. 6er had a good idea, maybe someone has an adapter, you could also call up J&M on their tech line as well.

I just checked mine, and I don't have that Y. :dunno

follow the lines, see what both go to.
report back

I have the Russell lines on all 4 corners, no Y-fitting in the back on my 04, and I have TCS and ABS like asiansensation78.

My brake lines said 99-03 when I got them, which scared me until I installed them and they fit fine.

Where does that other brake line go - to the other side of the axle?

****UPDATE****

Well... here's the deal. I spoke with Brian at J&M, and he knew exactly what my issue was.

Turns out I have a very rare situation.

He said that for some reason, very few cars were ordered like mine.

I have Rear ABS ONLY. He said that about 1 in 500 sets of brake lines need this "splitter" piece.

As soon as I told him I have a 2000 GT and have an issue with the SS rear brake lines, he knew exactly what I was talking about.

He said to send them my part, and he will send out the correct part.

So far, A+ for Customer Service from J&M, HOTPART.com
