Ok so I know all about the 2V's but not much about the 3V's. I have some questions about the 3 Valves....
What does a stock manuel 05-09 GT make whp wise?
What does a full bolt on GT make?
What does a cammed + bolt on GT make?
What does a cammed, heads, and bolt on GT make?
What is the "average" limit of these motors before they pop, about 450-475whp?

Also what kind of ET's can these cars run in the 1/8th with each of the the above mods?

.
Stock rwhp is really more like 267-275. Stock my 5 speed manual car mad 267 rwhp and ran a best time of 13.72 @ 102 in the 1/4 mile. Was like a 8.81 @ 81 in the 1/8th.
And as far as how much you will pick up with intake and cams.. It's VERY tune dependent. Don't go the easy path to the dark side of canned email tunes. Go to a rep. dyno tuner. It's well worth the money. I'm not gonna name names, but there is a guy I've seen running a intake, hot rod cams, exhaust, ect on a canned tune only making slightly over 300 rwhp.

The Tune is everything on these cars.

Max rwhp I'm @ 471 now and intend to take the car up to right around 500 @ 11 psi. There are many others running a similiar setup and have been safely fgor over 2 years. Again, it's all in the tune.

a few bolt-ons or full bolt-ons?

i guess that's relative.

not to mention cam choice could mean a 10rwhp difference in some cases. maybe it is high, but that's the way i ****ing like it.
I was speaking of "average" amount of bolt ons, and "average" cam choices (I dont consider SPR cams average, more people seem to do NSR cams that take limiters)

that's the way i ****ing like it.
:lol Fair enough

Rwhp is one thing, but can you get the power down to the pavement?
