theres alot you can do to keep up with ls1's or beat them but id say the easiest and most reliable way is to get some good internals and spray the hell out of it lol.One thing we have going for us is the weight of foxbodys generally 100lbs = .10 fasterdamn there are alot of good ideas what to do here ive got a couple of ideas on what im going to do
im 1 hr from syracuseWhat part of ny r u in only a few hours from rhode island or r u upstate
The 347 will out accelerate the 351. The 347 has a lighter rotating assembly.
ive seen alot of 5.3s with turbo make 600+ on stock internalsThinking about doing a 4 cylinder roller with a 5.3 in it now hmmm....
He means a 347 vs. stock internal 351how do u figure if u have a built/forged/feather light setup in the 351...
Pffft, I've seen em' make 1000+ on stock internals with a turbo, lol. 700rwhp would be an animal on the street.ive seen alot of 5.3s with turbo make 600+ on stock internals

You left one thing out of your list, the bypass for the passlock. Either HP tuners, or buy/build the circuit to send the 50hz signal on the fuel enable wire. I found a schematic online to build your own circuit for about $8 in parts from radio shak that worked very well.Ive swapped 5 foxes, 2 rx7,2 1500 pickups,1 4x4 s10
Cranks in 9.5 decks are much larger.how do u figure if u have a built/forged/feather light setup in the 351...

every truck pan is the same. no measurements i eyballed it and test fit the motor about 5 times until i got 1/4 inch clearance all around then pulled it and welded in the filler panels really wasnt that bad 5.3l and 6.0l are externally identical only difference is bore size even the crank and rods r interchangeable. you can even make a 302ci lsx using a 4.8l crank and rods with 6.0l pistons in a 6.0l block with the right rod bolts ive seen one rev to 8500 with only arp rod bolts and coated bearings ;pSo that's just a full-size pickup pan? Happen to have the measurements of the cuts handy? I haven't played around with a 6.0 yet so I don't know if it makes a difference if it's a 5.3 pan or a 6.0.. Or are they the same pan? Either way, thanks for the tips and the pic, that just may be the push I needed to do the swap, lol. I just yanked the 4.3 the other day and have been debating what to do since.
