Wow, that's original and looks very good, nice job!

What kind of paint did you use? This is something I would like to try. And how did you get the front cover thing off? Is that a bitch or no?

I used duplicolor Self Etching primer. Duplicolor Metal Specks, and a duplicolor Graphite metallic paint pen for the lettering. Then I used spraymax 2k urethane clear. It's expensive and only lasts for 24 hours then it's unusable, but it's the best clear PERIOD! No runs, fish eyes, or orange peel, just straight up gloss!

As for the turbos, it takes about 2 minutes to take them off. Just 6 bolts holding the housing on.

Thanks for the info. When you say it only last for 24hrs what exactly do you mean? Like the can itself lasts 24hrs lol?

Correct. It's a 2 part clearcoat. The little red knob in the top goes onto a plunger nub on the bottom and you have to push the plunger down to break the mixture out of its housing inside the can and shake it for like 2 minutes. Then your good to go. But once you do that the can only lasts for 24 hours then it gets hard like a rock and is no longer usable.

Hmm interesting. Sounds like something I will need to try out!
