Out of curiosity, I seen tons of posts time and time again saying Vortech or Procharger. Is there just not many people that run the Paxton line, or is there some other reason you hardly hear about them?
vortech and paxton go hand an hand bc paxton is owned by vortech and there are a few guys on here that have paxton blowers. they are suppose to be damn good also.

If I did it again I would go turbo. To be honest my d1 whistle gets old after awhile
I'm running a D1 and don't have a huge whistle. You can faintly hear it when it is at idle but bnot enough to get anoyed. When you hit WOT then you can hear that thing go crazy but not much until then. What pulley are you running? 4"?

My V3 was very quiet for the few for thousand miles. It got alot louder though with the addition of a power pipe and getting some miles on it. Now its VERY noticeable. I change the oil regular on it and always filter the oil to check for metal and its been very clean the whole time. I think the V3SI is the BEST entry level street blower.

I just hate it if I get out of the car an let it run there no way ur talking by it But I'm guessing my d1 louder since its a bigger blower could be wrong.
Don't get me wrong I love having it on the car. Boost is amazing! But the tq for a turbo I think would be amazing to have

If I remember right no matter the size I think the v1 blower is the loudest out of the entry level blowers so to speak bc of the way the gears are cut.

How is that KB venture working out for you?

I received the KB I purchased only to find that when the motor blew up that it was on (previous original owner).... it shot piston fragments back up into the intake, i found a piston ring and piston chunks in the intake even after UPS handled it and delivered it LMAO.... no biggie because they didnt hurt anything...... but a very small piece of debri did gut sucked through the BPV and recirculated back through the charger........ the screws had like 6 VERY small nicks on them... I could feel it though when i turned it.

Long story short the seller is AWESOME. I trully believe he wasnt aware of the damage. We worked a deal out together and its at PSE Superchargers being repaired/rebuild right now. Should be back I hope next week and all taken care of along with a 1 year warranty....

The bad luck sucks but the seller is a VERY good person. I find out today from PSE the exacty grand total. We worked out a deal though so i end up with a rebuilt/warrantied blower and he doesnt have his pockets emptied trying to make this deal right..... we agree to split the cost on the blower repair.

but I went 13.611 at 103mph with
4.10's
jlt 75mm throttle obody and trickflow plenum
o/r x and maganapacks
and a tune.

with 2 sparkplugs backing out so it sounded like a hellacious exhaust leak

and my clutch is slipping on hard shifts..

those runs were on shitty nitto 275 tires hopefully the mickey et street 315's will do some work

Im happy with my V2 draw through set up but Im thinking of switching to a blow through set up to install a nice BOV. Ive had my Mustang w/V2 for over a little of a month and i love the whistle. I have Nittos and its not too bad compared to stock gas wise.. i would get 260 miles to the tank not 215 miles to the tank on the new car. I dont mind the gas but thought i would throw that out there.

4 inch with a 8 rib plus the power pipe I think it could have something to do with have a mondo bypass that's it so loud at idle. Not sure though
I just love/hate some of the things I hear ppl say cuz they don't know what the noise is

Got to love that one. I once had a guy in a vette believing that my water pump was going out n the noise my bov made was water hitting the block
