Well, the other day my dad pointed out that there was no exhaust coming out of the left size of my "dual exhaust" turns out its a dummy. The guy before me bought the GT Mufflers and then never bothered to hook it up :bash:. Needless to say i was pissed. So, Any suggestions on How to either run it through these mufflers or just buy a dual conversion kit? If so what kit do you suggest?

Will the sound be the same? I was thinking about getting new Axelbacks, just not loud enough for my taste :baller:

Take it off. Its just weight. Less weight=faster. Duals on a V6 doesn't really help anything, but make it sound better...(and to some its debateable), just leave the single on it and put a muffler on it that you like the sound of.

But I have a GT rear bumper with the dual exhaust cut out, so i cant just take it off or it would look weird with just one cut out being filled.

i have mac long tubes o/r x pipe 40 series exhaust and i love the way it sounds and i have videos of my car from the back and love every time i throw third the back fire my car gives through both tips just too sick. it wouldn't look right on a gt back bumper to have one tip

^..yeah. The butt dyno is always right. Placebo again...lol. I can 'FEAL' it too...
If it has the bumper cut outs...then by all means...go ahead and hook itup. Just don't expect power from it. Upgrade to our stock exhaust rarley gives any increase...doubt you will find any power from a V6 going from single to duals...

Just a tune can give you power...plus we aren't talking about longtubes and OR mid pipe...we are talking about hooking up another muffler...
and even if it gave you 3-5hp...you won't FEAL it in your SOTP...and it is still just the 'Placebo affect' as you like to say...

Look up the americanmuscle 05 v6 project car on youtube you can't tell me that when they got an extra 44hp and 60 ftlb of torque at the rear wheels from just putting on a jlt cai, a race tune, and a true dual exhaust kit........ Don't you think that the dual exhaust made a worth while difference?

Dual exhaust < Single exhaust...it weighs more. If you can get your little V6 to breath through a single exhaust....switching to dual wouldnt help at all on track times.
and 44RWHP and 60RWTQ on a V6 with CAI, TUNE and CAT BACK. lol. Give me a freaking break. 03/04 Cobras barely responded that well to the same type of mods, and have 2 more cyls, and BOOST! Magazines and Companys pay to get advertisment. Just because what you read in the mag, doesn't make it true. When was the last time you saw someone on a forum, NOT GETTING A PAYCEHCK, say they got 40hp from a catback, Cai and tune. lol. I bet you will NEVER see it. Give me a freaking break. You are living in la la land...
