Ok, i think i finally understand. I was confused because in the directions for the 2011+ cc plates, it says that the 2005-2010 CC plates not 2011+ struts wont work. Meaning, the 2011+ Eibach pro kit will work with these MM cc plates. I was just confused. Why they would say in the instructions other cc plates they make wont fit the 2011+'s...... i dont know... but it was confusing. These cc plates offer extensions that allow you to use 2005-2010 stuts, but it is primarily for 2011+'s. So now that THAT is cleared up.... I will probably be grabbing the eibach kit or the ford kit. I decided to hold off on the roush blower, so that strut tower brace in the ford kit might be nice to have.

Now, another question..... I want to use a spring compressor when installing new springs, but i see some people just use the car when it is under load...... input?

Actually, i may still be confused. I kept reading and because the 2011+ struts have the shorter thread, they wont fit 2005-2010 cc plates or stock upper strut mount..... I still shouldnt have any problems with this because im buying aftermarket struts.... right? Sorry this is confusing me so much, but of course i dont want to buy something and then be trying to install something that wont work. Thanks for the help.

If you are buying 2011+ shocks/struts, you MUST use a 2011+ strut mount or c/c plate. If you are buying 2005-2010 shocks/struts you MUST use 05-10 strut mount or c/c plate. They are not interchangeable.

If you are running the Eibach Pro Kit designed to work for 2011+ vehicles with 2011+ struts then you need Mm5CC-6 which is the camber plate for 2011+ shocks/struts. If you are running the Eibach Pro Kit designed to work with 05-10 vehicles with 05-10 struts then you need to be using Mm5CC-1 which is the camber plate designed for 05-10 struts.

The FRPP handling packs with the GT500 mounts are 05-10 struts (because they use the GT500 mounts). There is NOTHING wrong with 05-10 struts. The only change made to them (aside from valving on the stock ones) is the length of the stud at the top and the strut mounts themselves.

I hope that helps! :)

^^^^ That does help. I guess i just needed it laid out for me like that. Sorry about all of the confusion. Guess i will be getting the 2011+ Eibach pro plus kit with the MM5CC-6 2011+ CC plates.

Now, would you reuse all of the stock Bolts? Or would you consider those 1 time use?

I think i read somewhere they are recommended one time use..... gotta get some hardware for the LCAs im getting too.

When I replaced my shocks/struts the first time with stock springs and the likes, I reused the stock coarse thread bolts on my 09. When I changed springs I swapped out the bolts for the newer updated fine thread bolts. Just remember to use loctite and you should be fine. :)

taking this jacked thread back! just ordered all my suspension kit stuff.

Steeda Coilover kit
Steeda Adjustable UCA
Steeda LCA's
Steeda Adjustable Panhard Bar
and a Steeda Bumpsteer Kit.

Got 250 lb/in front springs and 200 lb/in rear springs.

Should be nice and stiff without being uncomfortable. Can't wait to have them installed and see how the car looks lowered. Should finally bring everything together really really nicely. Updated photos coming soon.
