so i raced a nissan 240sx se this weekend. although i believe it had some kind of engine swap as it was pretty quick but i still won. the badges on the back said "silvia" on the left and "se" on the right. reading online i couldn't find a silvia se so i'm assuming its the 240sx se b/c that is what the body looked like.
i killed him at a dig, it was no contest. i had him by at least 2 car lengths. but from about 40mph on up race it was close, i had him til about 130mph then he let off and i did too. if we kept going (which is quite stupid going even 130) he would have taken me, barely.
my question is; at higher speeds (40+), what can i do to keep the HP up and not allow someone to pass. i see stories of ricers "winning" b/c they go well over 140mph where the new edge doesn't do well. obviously nitrous would do the trick but i am staying all motor, for this engine anyway. i'm getting some UDP's eventually and 3.73 gears and probably some CA legal headers but none of those seem to be the key to keeping the acceleration going.
