Well my 2v GT is currently pushing 402 hp with all the exhisting mods on my signature including 47 lb ford racing injectors and a kurgan 340 lph fuel pump. I just have always said I want to get to the 500 rwhp mark and I would be satisfied.. what's the most budget friendly way of accomplishing 500 rwhp from where i stand now?

I would think cams would do you good, and upping the boost should be cheap.

I'm not sure how much power a stock shortblock is good to, though. That'd be my main concern.

I will say 368 seems kinda low on the torque for a boosted 4.6L.

500rwhp on your stock short block is not gonna hold up for a long time. I'd build it and then throw some cams and maybe up the boost a pound or two.

Im at 10 psi of boost right now.. will the 47 lb injectors and 340 lph fuel pump support 500 rwhp?

I would do a built short block some nice blower cams and up the boost. The Novi 2000 will definetly take you over 500rwhp.

I need someone to show me exactly which short block I would need.. Link please.. and possibly the most affordable/cheapest bang for the buck block.. and what else would be needed other then that short block and some cams? will my 47 lb injectors and 340 lph fuel pump support that? Im on the verge of selling my motorcycle.. I was going to do exterior mods to my car, but decided to go power.. and get to my 500 hp mark ive awlays wanted.. so I just need to be pointed the right direction..

Dont have a link but alot of people here go with the MMR 600 I think it is. Depending on how far from NC you are you could call Fastlane motorsports in Benson, NC and get them to build you a short block and get the custom cams they have. Their custom blower cams I have in my car and are nasty!

would I need any of those options? and im assuming they are added onto the $2399

I'm gonna tag along in this thread curious to what people suggest. I want 550 next but I'd like to do it on stock heads which I think is pushing it for the s trim

still waiting on someone to chime in and give me the full scoop.. and Im wondering why your car is making 391 tq and mine only 368 tq.. hp we are right there at each other. 402 and 400

i am going to a novi 2k pretty soon, I am looking at the same motor you are. I've been told to go with all the apr bolts. I may just get the 750 as it holds a bit more power, and just in case i decide to spin the novi 2k past 600 rwhp.
