I see a good number of people using SRT.T struts on the newer GT's, but from what ive seen they only make them for 05-10. First off how are they fitting if they only make them for 05-10, and how good are they or what have you heard about them.
I love it. With the konis set to full soft the ride is, imo, as good as stock over most road surfaces but I notice the extra rebound control in bigger dips as the car responds quicker and doesn't float over them like stock. The slightly stiffer springs make themselves known on big bumps but it's to be expected. My reason for the yellows was cause I autocross competitively where having the ability to change shock settings is useful. If I just ran for fun or had a mostly street car that ran an event or two a year I'd save the money and get str.t's. My roomate has those on his '07 GT with frpp K springs and they ride/handle just as good on the street. How do you like your set up? How does your car ride? My original plan was to go with koni yellows but im not sure if i wasnt to spend the money.
Steeda sports:Well i know for sure that im doing konis (yellow or orange) and eaither ford k springs or steeda sports. I like the K springs cause i think it will give alittle more agressive stance. How do your sports look?
What were you referencing by sports? Springs or Struts? I assume springs but I'll throw a couple pics in. lolWell i know for sure that im doing konis (yellow or orange) and eaither ford k springs or steeda sports. I keep hearing that but aside from the weight and curb rash I really like my factory Bullitt wheels. I do have my eye on some "proper" race wheels but I am really short on cash at the moment. Some day! Both your pictures look really good, and cause mine is red as well it kinda helps lol. At first i did no think the steedas gave enough drop, but i think i was wrong. My original question was about sport springs becasue i figured thats what gives the car its hight.
I still got like a month till i start ordering my suspension parts so i have time to decide, but i do know i will be ordering struts first becasue that will dictate my springs and cc plates.
Also both ur guys cars would look sick with some wheels![]()
Thanks. That's what I thought but wasn't sure since both have Sport in the name. Just making certain! Both your pictures look really good, and cause mine is red as well it kinda helps lol.

How much of a problem do you have with dragging on speedbumps? I don't have much of an issue with dragging the front end, I have more of a problem with it dragging somewhere along the transmission crossmember/brace on larger than normal speedbumps.I keep hearing that but aside from the weight and curb rash I really like my factory Bullitt wheels. I should point out that my car sits a quarter of an inch lower than other Mustangs with Steeda Sport springs due to the shorter-than-stock 245/45/18 tires which have sidewalls a quarter inch shorter (half inch total for diameter) than stock.
None really. I've scrapped once and it was because I took the speed bump too fast. Slowing down a lot helps avoid bottoming out. So does avoiding areas with speed bumps all together! How much of a problem do you have with dragging on speedbumps? Don't head at the bump straight on, go over them sideways one wheel at a time. This should help, it's how I got around in my lowered Infiniti.Unfortunately i cant avoid speedbumps. i go very slow over them...3mph max and still drag on some. concerns me sometimes. lol underside of the car doesn't show that its ever touched the ground though.
