20's will usually cost more, tires as well, depending on the brand. More rotational mass to move since its a bigger wheel so remember that weight factor. 18's are less rotational mass to move. Also fatter tires so ride quality will most likely be better, more cushion.

Its all personal preference. Its your car remember that.

Doink.

Unless I'm buying a track wheel my car will always have 20s

20s cost more. More surface area to clean. More strain on your brakes. Harsher ride. Less tire profile to protect wheels on potholes/speed bumps. Usually more issues with balance (highway steering wheel shake). Poorer handling. More expensive tires.

Traded a set of raceline 20s a couple months ago for stock painted aluminum 18s because of how much slower/shittier the car drove. Unless you've got a good "body kit" 20s look "overdone".

Save yourself the headache and stick with 18s or 19s.

Steering wheel shake is not an issue as good tire people can balance 20s properly you don't run into balancing issues till you hit 24in and up.

The brakes is not a major difference either unless you were to get a heavy heavy all chrome wheel. Most 20s will be comparable to 18s.

The potholes and road debris may be an issue but if you lower the car they will be an issue. I have had one pothole tear up my 20 but it also had taken out cars with regular wheels also......that was a bad set of potholes.

I do it with my cell phone !

All I'm saying with balance is you're going to want some adjustable camber plates. For some reason the 20s exacerbated the negative camber issue inherent with S197s on my car. This is what caused my steering wheel shake

they both will look great. the performance between the two isn't really going to be significant enough that it should be the deciding factor. as said 20's will ride a tad rough because of having less sidewall.

i would get the ones that you think look better.

Get a wheel designed for mustangs and you won't have the problem of balancing, harshness and extreme weight. For the most part.
