check the title to make sure it's clean. also you'd do yourself a favor by getting a carfax. make him pay for it up front imo. if it's clean tell him you'll add the few bucks to the price of the car. it's a great deal if the only issue is the code for the cats and you should jump on it

i can get free carfaxes from a dealer buddy. so that is gonna happen tommoro. didnt get to see it as he was called into work tonight? i think ill try and atleast get him down to 13 butwe will see.im gonna try and convince him to do it tommoro

3 owners. no incident reports. on carfax
so i went and saw it today. 2 major problems that bother me other than cats(passenger side cat).
1. the hood was chipped on the edge and the aluminum was oxidizing and paint was peeling.
2. door panel had the leather material peeling off.

he said hes taking it to a shop for the door panel and im concidering getting a hood if i want to get it and leave it black for a while.

Door panel is an easy fix and hoods are prone to doing that. Mine is doing it for the second or third time now. I'd say do it and get a good fiberglass hood.

13K is fair. My car had some paint bubbling under the hood, I just put a GT500 hood on there...saw it on CL and couldn't resist. Good luck!
