i was offered, by a very good friend, a 95 gt 5.0. same miles as my 2000 v6. he heard i was gonna turbo charge my 6 and begged me not to do it. he said all your going to do is blow the engine just trade me this one and turbo that. i dont know too much about that year or specs really. we havent worked out all the details on the trade yet but i have so much in the 6 i dont really want to get rid of it. then again i will have more power with the 95. were gonna talk more about it after the holiday. but its sounds like he wants to just trade straight across. and in case any one is from bakersfeild, ca my buddy owns city auto repair. WHAT SHOULD I DO???!!!

ok so back to the topic haha. if i would take the car to someone to check it out it would be him. he gets the cars from his dads dealership and make them run perfect then sells them off. he says i should turbo that thing. because he knows the six will blow up after about a month. should i trade?

so should i do it i mean i will have to start from the begining of mods like springs clutch upgrades lights you know stuff like that. and i know in the long run i will get more hp.

i think its bone stock i dont know he was busy and it just kinda came up in conversation certain things were said like striaght trade but him and i are gonna talk about it more after labor day.

o yeah i still have the stock ones i would keep the stereo and the rims and throw the old ones back on.
you through a turbo on either of them and bump it up past 6 you put the motor in danger... the essex is stronger then the 5.0 i would trust it more...
a car has to be built to handle boost either way you look at it engine size doesn't matter
