What rpms are you guys launching from to get good 60ft times. Best I've had is a 2.0

On street tires I did a best if 1.9 launching at idle, on drags I got a 1.7 launching at 3500rpm

That's crazy I launched from 4500 and bogged on drag radials

Are y'all side stepping the clutch or rolling out of it fastest 5.0 around me runs a 12.6 and it's a automatic

When I had my Boss Intake on i bogged on radials from 0-6000RPM haha.

Straight up side stepping, if i dont hook up rolling out of it.

What PSI you runnin the radials at and what size?
Tonight was my 3rd pass with the DRs I was running 23psi had a 1.9 60ft and ran a 12.4@114

I know this thread is old but I need to know some suspension for lower 60' ft times. I just have LCAs right now

I run the mt 275-60-15s at 25#s and my car is an automatic. I've got a circle d converter and 4.10 gear. My usual 60' is 1.58 on motor leaving at 2500 and 1.52 on the nitrous. All of my suspension is stock.
That's crazy my best so far is a 1.8 same tires u have at about 20psi

I'm running MT streets 275-50-15s @ 17lbs and I cant get better than a 1.90 after about 11 runs this year. My car has 3.31 gears and manual trans. And my only mods are a "no-tune" CAI , muffler deletes & eibach pro kit. I launch around 3k

That's the same I had with 3.31s

if your truely bogging, it's not in the susp.

as a general rule, spinning = susp, bogging = some sort of launch procedure change (I'd be curious to know exactly how your leaving because it seems as a general rule m-6 cars 60' pretty good with tires & a good track).

4500 seems right but I wonder if your missing something.

Personally, I don't just dump the clutch. I drive the car out of the hole with a smooth fast controlled clutch release while applying the power. I hold rpm's at 4k and just go.1.5-1.6 without beating the car up too much.

Probably only my 3rd time going I'll see if one of my buddies has a video of me racing. If not I'll get it on video next time I go to see if y'all can help me out any

a video wouls be an awsome help.

this is a minor set back, don't let it get you frustrated, lanching a stick car takes some seat time in the car to get it sorted out.
