What rpms are you guys launching from to get good 60ft times. Best I've had is a 2.0
When I had my Boss Intake on i bogged on radials from 0-6000RPM haha. That's crazy I launched from 4500 and bogged on drag radials
Tonight was my 3rd pass with the DRs I was running 23psi had a 1.9 60ft and ran a 12.4@114When I had my Boss Intake on i bogged on radials from 0-6000RPM haha.
Straight up side stepping, if i dont hook up rolling out of it.
What PSI you runnin the radials at and what size?
try taking em down to around 18psi, I know people say drag radials should be run with a little higher PSI but Iv had some good launches with em around that psiTonight was my 3rd pass with the DRs I was running 23psi had a 1.9 60ft and ran a 12.4@114
That's crazy my best so far is a 1.8 same tires u have at about 20psiI run the mt 275-60-15s at 25#s and my car is an automatic. I've got a circle d converter and 4.10 gear. My usual 60' is 1.58 on motor leaving at 2500 and 1.52 on the nitrous. All of my suspension is stock.
That's the same I had with 3.31sI'm running MT streets 275-50-15s @ 17lbs and I cant get better than a 1.90 after about 11 runs this year. My car has 3.31 gears and manual trans. And my only mods are a "no-tune" CAI , muffler deletes & eibach pro kit. I launch around 3k
if your truely bogging, it's not in the susp.I know this thread is old but I need to know some suspension for lower 60' ft times. I just have LCAs right now
Probably only my 3rd time going I'll see if one of my buddies has a video of me racing. If not I'll get it on video next time I go to see if y'all can help me out anyif your truely bogging, it's not in the susp.
as a general rule, spinning = susp, bogging = some sort of launch procedure change (I'd be curious to know exactly how your leaving because it seems as a general rule m-6 cars 60' pretty good with tires & a good track).
4500 seems right but I wonder if your missing something.
a video wouls be an awsome help.Probably only my 3rd time going I'll see if one of my buddies has a video of me racing. If not I'll get it on video next time I go to see if y'all can help me out any
