I recently traded my whippled '03 Cobra for a 2013 Boss 302, and a lot of people I know and talk to, do not know anything about the Boss 302. The majority of my friends think I made a mistake. Mainly because of the almost 600 at the wheels of the Cobra. Plus the history of the terminator can not be denied.
So my question to you guys is, Which car do you think is better? Stock for stock and modded for modded. You think the Cobra still dominates everything but the GT500 or is the Boss better than the ole Cobra?

The Boss is definitely better... Better chassis, better interior, more power stock and probably the same potential as the 4.6L 4v modded, infinitely better suspension geometry, better handling balance and prowess. The Boss 302 loses out in weight and ride quality. As nice as the Cobras are, they really are becoming out paced by the modern cars in pretty much everything. No doubt a great car still, but honestly I'd rather have a Boss 302 all day every day than a Cobra.

And I really hope you keep the heritage of the Boss 302 alive by attacking the twisty roads and tracks with it rather than trips down the quarter mile. The car is at home in the twisties and that is where the heritage is. Do your part in keeping it alive! That and the Torsen rear diff doesn't do shock loads from drag launches very well... :)

Never been a huge fan of the termi bumper, I think it looks bloated. But I looove new edges and the 11-12s so it'd be tough for me... But I think in the end I'd have to go Boss! Sexy ride btw :drool

That's a tough choice. I've always been in love with termi's. My dream car is a sonic blue termi. But the Boss is so badass... I'd probably go with a boss if it came down to it. Probably just as much potential and it's newer than the termi.

had a termi, and i think just my 5.0 is better car in every aspect. Yes, i miss the whine. My next car will be a boss 302 and not a question about it.

I've been around a bit of both- a customer of ours has a Gotta Have it Green Boss 302- with the red key it's pretty nice. We put a lopey cam tune in it, and it sounds/runs strong. Termi's are badass as well- you can't go wrong with one really. IMO you made no mistake. The Boss is something newer, with more tech, and of course there is already and will continue to be a **** ton of aftermarket/performance parts available for the new 'yote's. You put some money into that Boss and will have one hell of a car..

BTW it's beautiful-love it in the white with the black reflective stripes.
