stock 5.0 blocks hold to around 500 hp before they do the splits, pretty well known. mexican or r block is the only option, and it isn't cheap. but it looks like a good deal.

for some reason i had it in my head that it was a vortech blower. yeah that's not good, a vortech would be a much better choice for head unit, more reliable, and you can up the boost if you need.

Powerdyne superchargers are junk..... the only good thing about them is they run a little cooler cuz there belt driven. But the neg about them is the belts break and you cant spin them that high

There's a lot of goodies on that thing. I have a Vortech fox with about the same power and its been running fine for years with the exception of a soft gasket here and there. Don't just look at the mechanicals, check the electrical, if you see black tape everywhere and a mess and globs of wires throughout like the stuff near the coil on the one picture, I'd bid much lower. Rigged up electrical jobs are a major PITA! Just a personal opinion but that rear spoiler/exhaust setup has to go.

340 to the wheels maybe

How serious are you about the car? We can only say so much. Ultimately it's your call but for every part there will be supporters and naysayers. If its really caught your eye, go give it a once over and a drive. That'll be the ultimate test. Personally I like my AC, power steering, etc. Not a race car, just my happy car.

And I want to see a dyno sheet because 475 seems a bit outrageous.

Def worth the money, but as anything for sale goes, offer less and keep working till you get it for the best deal you think you can. I'd say the blower is not worth it for big power, and I don't understand his cam choice, or head choice, or blower choice, but if it works and makes that power, then by all means get it and enjoy it. About 10k in parts on that thing. The trans is 2295 new alone. jmho.

True. This is the first affordable boosted Fox I have seen. All the ones I see on here that people are trying to sell are usually asking $10k+.

I could live without A/C, but the power steering delete is what I wouldn't be too fond of.

Realistically, if the work was done right putting it all together, how reliable is a boosted Fox?

Gravik, i live in boise too and if i were you i'd buy one of the cheap 5 speed 5.0 foxes that are for sale and build it your self. That way you know what was done to it and it was done correctly. Their is a good local foxbody forum that i could tell you about if you wanna get a fox. The people on their know about many of the foxes around the valley and how they were treated.

BTW, i would pass on that car because as flattus said, their are much nicer cars for the money.

If I got a Fox, I'd rather buy one is already built. like this one, it was built at a performance shop and the owner says he has every receipt for the build.

Probably won't get this one though. The question is, do I want to sell my new edge to get a Fox? I'm kinda torn on it. The more I see clean Fox's, the more I want one. I know someone who has a 500rwhp turbo fox, and know someone else who is building a turbo notch (almost done with it).

I've never done any deletes like A/C or power steering, so how easy is it to get the power steering back? is it just the pump?

Dude buy a clean stock one for cheap and build it yourself. Trust me. If you get one that's already built, you're most likely buying someone else's project. Get a solid base and do everything yourself so you know what it has and the condition of everything. Just because it was built in a performance shop doesn't mean it won't develop costly problems.
