Today was beautiful, so after class I went by the San Jacinto monument to pay some respects and enjoy the day. Didn't have my camera with me, so you have to deal with my Instagrammyness, because my cameras phone sucks.

The Monument, near were Santa Anna surrendered and Texas won its independence.

The Battleship, launched in 1912, the Oldest remaining Dreadnought class ship. Now permanently harbored in the Houston Ship channel near the Monument.

did you go in the ship? its really cool

i cant explain how weird it feels knowing that you were exactly where i was a few weeks ago, just seems odd that someone random on the internet was right were i was.

walk my dog every morning by the river, so i figured this might be a cool shot, need a better wide angle lens, i think i could make it pretty neat

but i do like this one aswell

Naw I didn't feel like shelling out to go onto the ship then, but I have been on it before. Back in the day when I was in Scouts, we actually got to spend the night on it.
