Ok guys i need ur helps. Its been hapening alot latley, only when its cold. I go out in the morning or nights when the temp is really low, the car starts right up. As soon as i let go oulf the clutch to leave damn car shuts down and makes clickin noises from my eec. Anybody else encounter this problem? Is this a commom issue? Simple fixes? Any help will be appriciated

Check for loose grounds. There should be one at the computer. Normally you dont want to jst start replacing parts with out knowing if there bad or not, but the pcm realy is cheap, so it wouldnt hurt to replace it. Im not sure if there cheaper at your local parts store but heres one from LMR

Yeah they are cheaper at the local parts store. Less than 10 bucks and no shipping or wait. Check your main grounds out on your battery. If you put thse cheap terminal ends on, that could be the issue too.

I guess you could try looking for a loose wire in the connector that plugs into the computer.

After that, im out of ideas, sorry

Ignition switch under the dash on the column?

Huh. So it runs fine any other time?

Yea during the day car runs like a champ. No problems. Its only at night when i release the clutxh it shuts down. When it get the cwr moving finally it drives fine until it tries to shut off again. I can sometimes stop it from shutting down if i catch it and step on the clutch quick, it just bogs down then back to normal idle rpm.

Ok guys i figured out the problem. I think its caled the mi moduale. Not toooo sure. It goes on the colum right next to the ignition switch. Now the car stays on in cold weather! Now the ignition moduqle is messing up :/
Burdens of owning an old car :)

Thats yoyr ignition switch isnt it? The part the key goes into is not the ignition switch its called the key lock or tumbler. Can you take a pick of what you replaced?
