The Hurst is a solid shifter and very smooth. I doubt many people here have tried it and could give an honest opinion either way. MGW is also good, but a little rigid for my taste. The Pro 5.0 is a real piece of **** for sure though. It is by far the hardest to shift of any I have personal experience with.......
How would you compare the 2? I want something flush and smooth.

O, and to never miss 3rd when going down the track.......lol

my MGW will be here next tuesday if that gives my opinion...furthermore, i have the leather wrapped shift know right now on the factory shifter, i like the way it feels in my hand but is there any advantage to having a ball knob? i want one that feels just like i have now but with some flash to it, so people notice the unimagineable short throw i will have, one final note, what is the best way to adjust the shift stops with an MGW sinct the T-45 does not have internal stops...found out the hard way with a broken blocker ring that still needs to be replaced

Follow the instructions that come with the shifter, that's how we did it on my brother's '99...
