Nothing , especially if you are in Florida. But my understanding is they are much more touchy about temp and altitude changes, compared to just a carb, and around here, where it might be 80 1 day, and 20 the next, or a road trip where I might change a few thousand feet of elevation,I wouldn't want to have to readjust that frequently.

OP, you live in Toledo, man. Where weather changes by the hour and this is your dd, and you want to put 70's tech on your car?? Remember flooded engines and fouled plugs from old 60's and 70's cars? Thats what youll end up with. Leave it alone if its running and think about this for a while before you start ripping into your dd to make it unreliable. Look into holley efi, most of the money you are spending could be put towards the kit and it doesnt use mass air. Just food for thought. It isnt going to be a powerhouse with all this money tossed at it anyway, so give it some thought. Maybe getting an explorer engine and holley efi will make. more power and make a great reliable dd too.

Thanks for all the input guys. I have been thinking about all of that lately. Truthfully, I plan to just convert to carb for drivability and simplicity. Then to convert to roller cam, electric fan, trans cross member, and long tubes with full exhaust. Then onto a full restoration. I need both doors, deck lid, drivers fender, and I want a 3 in cowl hood for the car. Than a full top and a total strip down and rotisserie body and paint. It's gonna take a few years to complete.

I will probably never build a big motor for this car. It's just gonna by a driver. I'm sure that will change in the future but I have to remember it's a convertible. I just need to drive it. First thing is another Fox body for a spare car....lol

Don't blame you for the carb. Heck I like mine, but if I had EFI I'd be thinking boost, and not new heads :)
Then to convert to roller cam,
This is not as cost effective as it might seem. To do it right you'll need the special roller lifters, and they run around $500, cam, distributor, ect. You could drop 1500 into the conversion, on a motor that is not worth building on. The early 80's non-roller blocks are the worst 302's ever. IMO

I'm starting to pull some of the emissions vacuum lines. I'm just trying to simple down the engine so I can just drive it to work every day. I'll probably just go with an MSD billet distributor and digital 6AL box. Then an Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake and an Edelbrock carb. That should be enough to keep the car simple. Now I have to look for the Professional Products return style fuel regulator so I can run the carb.
