I see both sides also. I just dont like "oh hey, youre new at detailing but you wanna be in our crew, sorry, you're not good enough to be in our crew right now."

... Zymol Crew only requires that your better than everyone else...

If you want people to take my club seriously, it needs to be called "Pro Detailer Crew" (or something like that)...not the modest and humble "Always Clean Crew" that we originally started.

I can get beside this. Because I don't think I'm stupid when it comes to detailing. But I don't say im pro level. But I do try and keep my car clean all the time. Could I do friends cars and have them be really super happy with the outcome yes but that's nothing to write home about when they have very little detail experience.

I think you should stick with the ACC... maybe a Pro Detailer rank, but the name is good.

It's not that I don't know anything, I've been detailing for going on 3 years now and have tons of hours of research, etc. But I don't agree with the elitist type attitude. To be in a cobra crew, yes you have to own a cobra. But do you have to know how to work on that cobra, or have to know anything about it? No.
Not trying to be a Dick, but its just my opinion and we all have those :D
I never said you couldnt be in here man. I know you know your stuff, you would have gotten immediate approval.

Where were you when we were voting on this?
^This.

I was hesitant as well. . . I really don't care that much either way. I can see both sides.

On one side of things if joe blow comes in here and joins then goes to all the other sub forums and starts posting with ACC under his name about turtle wax and 500 grit sand paper to clean his windows that kind of sets a bad precedent for the "club".

On the other side someone comes in here and actually cares about it and wants to learn they can't join until they are "good enough".

I see both sides of this whole thing.
Well im probably going to do a revote. The reason i did this is because, at the time, the general majority of ACC members thought it was a great idea.

Guess not. What do you think shook?

I expect royalties for the use of my club name from all you ****ers. YOU TOO, MODDEDMACH lol
haha^

Ok so like i said earlier....this exclusivity of the club was decided on by members, not me. It was just an idea that was sparked between a few of us. So i posted the question and the majority of immediate responses thought it was a cool idea to have it be something awarded/earned, not given.

I dont give a crap either way, its up to the members. The ACC is a democracy crew, i only represent the collective voice as the founder and i want what makes the majority happy.

SO

Whats its gonna be guys? You want the ACC to be a representation of the Detailing section in general or do you want it to be synonymous with people who have more experience detailing?

Let me know, like i said, either way is cool with me, its about what the people want.

Thanks

I need a yes or no, i dont wanna piss more people off because most of the people "dont care either way" lol.

And idk, ive never had that particular Guam chicken dish. lol

And yes, i googled it.

yea but no one will care if its not exclusive, no one is gonna be pissed that anyone can get in.

Im probably going to put it back to the original nonexclusive ACC. Ill give it til the end of tomorrow, most of the regs will have been on by then.

To be honest most people know who to listen to on here. So the exclusivity doesnt help a whole lot. lol

It's entirely up to you guys. I lurked for a LONG time. I didn't have the ability to do alot of the things I can now considering I was still at Ft. Stewart... in the barracks.

Now however, I feel like I can contribute and the knowledge I've gained through alot of you (Vader, Mach, Perple, etc just to name a few) have helped out immensely.

Always Clean Crew works for me. I don't see the need for "SUPER DUPER PRO DETAILER CREW" but its up to you guys.

I'm here to contribute and also learn. I love the chill atmosphere but also like seeing everyone helping eachother out without bias.

Like you stated above I can see both sides and really could care less if it's exclusive or not.

Here is my suggestion at this point to try and help you out Modded. I vote we open it back up (since it seems like that's what most want or are leaning towards) and the first time we see someone with the ACC title start throwing out crap info to people in different subs and other places we close it up and make it exclusive.
