Well, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on some new stuff. I've decided to go with a Chris Straub spec'd HR. Since this cam is a little more aggressive than the one I have, I'm ditching the comp lifters for some Morel link bars. My converter is a little too loose, and after speaking with Straub, and also Marty at Chance converters, they agree it's too loose, so I'll be sending it in to get it tightened up. Chris says we should knock off at least .2 on the motor, and at least .5 on the juice. That's a pretty hefty claim, but I guess only time will tell.

Lol....sounds good to me! We are shooting for the same thing.....5.90s or break.Jesus. Thats a lot of lift. Max lift on my cam(s) are .475. lol.

It went a 6.20 spinning the tires with the old one. I wasn't really buying a cam to pick up anything. I bought one because mine is all ****ed up, and it had to have one. I don't expect it to drop .5, especially in the 1/8, but if I can pick up a little from the cam, a little from the converter, and get a clean pass.....it might do it. or maybe not. We will find out in March.

Yeah they're a good spring. I'm curious as to what they are now, but I'm pretty well planning on having to buy new ones. Got the motor out tonight, and got the heads off, and damn these things are ****ed up. They've just been taken apart and put together so many times, that they're just worn out. There will be lots of helicoils. I just hope they can all be fixed. The intake bolt holes are fuuuuuucked.

My best 60 NA for the night was 1.38.

With 4 series gears and a stick it feels like way before the 60 foot lol.
Get that 60 on spray down to a 1.32 and you'll be ridinggg
