Ok first is when i turn ignition on what dash lights should come on?
Second I cannot turn traction control on/off its always on could just be the switch but local autoparts store couldnt find one for me to try.
Also can anyone make a suggestion for intake manifolds? I see a few but wonder which ones are worth it.

Thanks guys in advance.

1. u mean just starter?
2. has it been tuned? there's an option in the tuner to permanently disable
3. i have the professional products all aluminum intake manifold... it was free, i got it so i could powder coat it... no noticeable performance, but at least this one won't crack

not start it just ignition on

I dont know if it has yet or not but i know its on cause i cannot burn out with out it stopping

Any other manifolds out there besides the PP one

  1. You can download an owner's manual here;

  2. When the t/c is OFF and amber LED is lit, the amber LED is OFF when the t/c is ON. In what state does the LED on your car remain? If the LED is always on it is possible that traction control was disabled in the tune.

    The push button switch is momentary contact, like a key on a keyboard; each time it is pressed a pulse is sent to the ABS control module microcontroller telling it to "toggle" the t/c on or off;

  3. The stock PI intake is as good as any as to performance, will last 8+ years/85 to 100k miles, and only costs $250 or so;

Here are my thoughts on where to begin with performance upgrades...

light stays off. even when pressed and od off works but doesnt light up when pressed either.

Well it already has th PI intake so i was just wonering if there were anybetter out there.

There's the typhoon and trickflow, think the trickflow has the plenum and TB attached to it... but they are not worth it in terms of performance to cost ratio... really the plenum and TB is where you'll make a little more power, but not substantial

Check fuse #5, 15 A, in the central junction box (under the dash)...

cant get it out.... and another question sometimes the car makes a groaning kind of noise when i am sitting still and turn the wheel to the left.

Could be a seized up ball joint or tie-rod end, low of p/s fluid, or the steering rack mounting brackets--one of the first things I fixed on my '03 when it had just 30k miles on it.

Re: pliers, what are commonly called needle-nose pliers are actually chain-nose pliers. (OK I'm anal and I know it, but having taught engineering for some years I cannot help it--if I were assisting someone and they asked for "needle-nose" pliers they would get that which is shown in the top photo):

It's another of those things like alternator vs. generator, common usage is wrong...

Fuse was blown. Good to go now. Ya it has to be something on the steering. I will look this weekend. I was under the car today and they were putting on some new tips i noticed it is lowered and it has the bbk o/r x pipe and the o2 sensor wires have been "operated" on idk what they did to them. the shouldnt need extensions if its just a replacement midpipe right?

Good news!

With an "off-road" mid-pipe the rear O² sensors have to be either disabled in the tune or fitted with MIL Eliminators to prevent the PCM from throwing catalytic converter failure codes. You can make your own for $6 or so, that may be what was added to the wiring...

Wow that is exactly what it looks like.... hahahaha well I atleast now know it will be safe to have it tuned.... after the headers ofcourse

Headers are a 100% "you get what you pay for" product, and as I have often said on these pages:

"If you buy the cheapest there is there is a very good possibility you will get the cheapest there is. This is not always true, however it is true far more often than not."
