i got my exhaust done finally on sat, but my questions is; is it normal to ask for an after cat and then they cut the pipes above the flage and then just weld on 2 pipes and make it true dual. is that how ppl normaly do true dual??
no cat back alone (with mid pipe - H,X,true dual) will add noticeable gains at track. just gains in sound, and some powerbone_crusher said:ok thats what i wanted to know. shouldnt true duals improve your your e/t at the track?
no crossover in the midpipe. and you wont notice the gains of that few hp if any freed up. you just get the soundbone_crusher said:true dual being one tube from each header? cause i have that and i got no gains

im saying you wont notice the gains of a mid pipe. you will see hp gains on the dyno that do not differ between true dual, X and H on the even-firing essex motors, but X outflows H outflows true dual for the odd-firing modular motors.SSStang said:AtlanticBlue99 said:no crossover in the midpipe. and you wont notice the gains of that few hp if any freed up. you just get the soundbone_crusher said:true dual being one tube from each header? cause i have that and i got no gains
So your saying with an H or X you get more gains vs no midpipe at all?
nobone_crusher said:so if i weld a juncture between the two (making an h-pipe) i will see better gains?
H, X, and true dual make the same power on the even-firing essex motors (your car has an even-firing essex V6)bone_crusher said::crazy friggin confused
