I've got a tri-ax on mine and its fantastic! problems hitting/missing 3rd sometimes but you can cure that with a little stregnth and bravery:D ive tried a hurst and a pro 5.0 (my friend wont let me drive his new edge with a MGW)

The pro 5.0 seems to be a lot smoother, whereas the hurst and tri-ax both have more of that "hell yeah gear change!" feel hishman was talking about.

If you wanna have more fun shifting gears I'd say hurst or steeda, and I kinda prefer the steeda....I hear some good things about that MGW though...

My hurst shifter is a minimum of 20 years old. And it works great. Any thing over stock im sure youll be happy with

Ok so I'm about to install my new MGW. Is it just removing the other one and bolting this one back on or do I need to add oil anywhere?
Just unbolt the old one and bolt up the new one. Shouldn't need to add any oil
