That's what I meant to suggest in my post before when I said 295/40s and 265/40s. 35 series tires in those sizes will look good. If you can find a good price, that's your best bet.
I would agree with T_rail. Everybody always says 275 front 315 rear, but to be honest i was going to switch that set up for a 255 front and 295 rear. The reason is up front i didnt need that much tire, I was taking super crazy twisties and by having the 295 rear there were more options for a taller tire. However this was also on a 17" rim...

Yeah really thinking the 265 and 295 combo. Also, the 305 and 315 are way too expensive.

Yep and they're totally not worth it. I'm making well over 400 horse and my 285/40/18 Toyo's do the job. I can practically go foot to the floor in second in dry conditions and they'll hook. Although Toyo's run a bit wide so they're closer to 295mm.

How are the BFG G-force? I like the look of them. The Bullitt only get maybe 1500 miles a year on her.

i have them in 295/35R18 on my Mach 1. they are very good street tires though i could not get them to hook the best at the drag strip. i also have BFG g-force sports up front in 255/40R18

295/35/18 rear on 18x10
225/45/18 front 18x8
Continental extreme contact. (Dws)
If you don't drive in the winter the DW's are nice.
Both sizes are 26" tall
Ride quality & noise is great & non excistint

The fronts are on the skinny side but I drag race a lot & was looking for weight savings.
I love the looks of the 18's but the difference between tire prices of 17" to 18" seemed to jump up quickly.

18 tire price are insane but imo look better and are the better choice

I have some time to research, gotta get the FR500's paid off first.

I went with Nitto NT05's 275/40's on all fours... I mostly road race with the car, so i kept the same size, so i don't decrease the handling by staggering the tires.

just picked up some 265/35/18 BFG KDW2 for 155.98 a tire. Cant wait for them to come in!!
