I used to detail my 98 with this stuff called Dupont with Teflon and it was the BEST wax I've ever used, hands down. I sold that car and just recently got a 2007 GT that BADLY needs a wax, and I can't seem to find anything good. Does anyone know where I can find this stuff? OR know a good product that's very similar with the teflon?

if i had the money i would buy online all the time.but when somebody is out of a job or on unemployment like me,you sometimes dont got the money to dish it out online ,so you gotta go otc sometimes....but when i read about somebody saying that they done something with or asking about OTC waxes or car wash its a "oh thats crap or your a freaking noob do you even know how to wash a car"crap like that is what gets me......at least some are trying to take care of there vehicle the best way they can with what they can afford till they can afford something better......and while it may cost the same price you still got shipping......so i can get a can on CG wax for 20 bucks + shipping so around 30...while i can get something that i like ,like surf city wax,and more of it for under 20...

how does that make any sense..most of the time stuff you can get online the better stuff cost about the same as the OTC crap but you get alot more cause you can dilute it or it goes further and last longer. Like Ultima WW+ concentrate..that makes 5gallon of the best QD/Claylube/waterless wash..its $20 or you can buy some OTC QD that cost 7-9bucks for 16-20oz

OTC products arent all crap. Armor all and turtle wax...yea kinda, but most of the meguiars and mothers stuff, even the Surfcity stuff is decent.
But the reason most people come on there is because they have a question or need that OTC isnt meeting, thats why we suggest better pro grade products, most of the time they are cheaper in the long run and do a WAY better job.
Like sealants for instance. Menzerna powerlock will last a GOOD 6 months, a 16oz bottle price is around 30 bucks. But a bottle will do an average sized car about 30 times. So 15 years of protection for 30 bucks. not to shabby.
UWW is a great example. Chemical Guys Sig wheel cleaner is another. Dilutable products are the ****.

Here's a few I like.
Mothers wheel cleaner, good cleaner but expensive in the end.
Meguiars endurance tire gel, better than any OTC tire shine imo.
Mothers metal polish.
Let's see what else...meguires nxt 2.0 wax is pretty okay, mother synthetic wax is absolute trash. Mothers carnauba paste is alright, terrible to work with. I still use an OTC microfiber wash mitt oh and I like invisible glass if I'm in a pinch, and I still use rain x sometimes.

and again ur not adding shipping into that,i have 64 oz of ONR,when i had the money to get 32 oz for 21 shipped,,i then got 32 oz more for free because of a lost package.UWW was almost 15 bucks more adding shipping ..yes i had the money at the time to order ONR but not UWW.....maybe im not saying it right or something...
and if i didnt have that like some ppl dont and they need it in a hurry then there no problem with OTC

Where are u ordering from? Autoality still has free shipping on orders 25$ and up under 5 pounds I believe.. Idk if they changed it. If you're ordering from DC shipping shouldn't even matter because of the discounts. At least that's how I feel about it.

i use it as a QD..nothing more..i got 60 some OZ left so i wont be changing anytime soon....like i said most places was out of UWW so i grabbed the ONR

if i choose plastic trim at those 2 stores the surf city is better than the mothers back to black....i think it needs to be a sticky ,it will help alot of ppl that wants to stay OTC out alot,and that doesnt want to buy online also
