if the cars being taken..how you gunna do this swap..

and +1 8t6, the carb set-up is pretty easy but EFI would be tuff as balls to install, all the wiring and emissions ****..
 
I have done this swap about 2 years ago, and I am about to do it again. If going carbed its not that bad. EFI isnt bad either, as long as you have the harness, the ECM and an EFI long block. But carb is def better and can net as much or more power than EFI if properly done.
 
you can use the 7.5 rear end it will be ok, if your gonna start racing it then you want to swap out to an 8.8 rear end, reason being the 8.8 is suppose to be stronger and most 7.5 rears are open which means they dont have a traction lock in them like most 8.8s do, thus giving you a 1 wheel burn out. but as far as being able to use the 4 cyl rear end yes you can do that, but you need a v8 drive shaft to fit the trans
