So post like this have been worked to death by many, but I'm looking for specific advice.

I have been looking at wheels for a solid 2 weeks (18x9/10 or 10.5). I had my mind made up on 18" black chrome saleens, but they cannot be found in the US anywhere (BC FR500's either). I then started looking at the SVE drift wheels, but they do not come in gloss. Then noticed FR500's and Saleens come in gloss. I also came across XXR 526's (most expensive option). They look pretty damn mean, but a few of my friends (non mustang owners) say the chrome/polished lip is not a good look. My car has been in the shop getting a new tune, suspension, upgraded fuel system, ETC. and now it’s just going to sit cause I need tires (old tires are dry rot from sitting).

My car is performance red (No chrome or silver wheels)

The pic I used below was scalped from the interweb, sorry if it's your car.

I'd appreciate any imput.

The more I stare at them it comes down to gloss black saleens and XXR's in gloss black. Probably a $400 differance between the two

Buying them today hopefully. I also was not a huge fan of all black either and tend to agree, but gloss helps. I don't want straight chrome on my car. Trust me when I say I have spend weeks on this decision.

I checked every where. Everyone is out. The ship hasn't left from China and no one knows when its coming in.

Some folks had rears, some fronts, but you don't want to piece those together.

Chiming in late, but FR500s are always a safe bet on new edges. XXR 526s look like they belong on a Civic if I may be honest. Saleens are a safe bet too. When I get new rims, they'll be CCW SP550 in hyperblack. That is if I get a Cobra.

All black wheels look cheap IMHO, all the honda kids around here spray paint/plasti dip their stock wheels and even hubcaps. Noone can tell once you are moving whether it's 4 steel black wheels or expensive black aluminum wheels. In the end it is your car though.
