hell, there is a mach in my area for $8k (he had $7800 on his ad in richmond) with about the same mileage. They ruined it with a roush front bumper and removed the spoiler though. And its an auto

Edit: 130k. but for these cars, 130k is just breaking it in

As long as I can get 10k I'll be happy. It's worth a shot right. :) Or, sell the rims and tires for 800 and slap my bullit rims on and sell the car for 9200. Rims and tires have less than 3k miles on them.

None taken man. I appreciate all honest feedbacks. It's better than sugar coating it!

As beautiful as you keep your car, I think it is a mistake to part ways with it. You know the history, and the full story of the 85K highway miles.

With the Cobra, you are trying to imagine a decade of ownership by inspecting it for a few hours. (Same goes with any used car.)

If I were you, I would take the difference between what you think you will get ($9-10k imo), and the Cobra's price and use it to build a forced induction GT.
You'll know the history, the quality of the work that was done to it, and your insurance will be cheaper. :thumb:

Even with all of that said, the whine of an Eaton is intoxicating, and I would kill for a positive displacement blower setup on a 4v.

Your asking too much for your car. My car with 63k miles on it is only worth $9,500. I would not pay $16k for that cobra with that many miles on it. You can find nice looking Cobras with much less mileage for around $2-3k more. You can get a built Cobra with a Whipple or KB on it for a little over $20k.

dude GET IT if you really like the termis.. The termis last a long time and engine will run very strong for a very long time. Ford knew what they were doin on those cars... they have always been my dream car.. just too much money for a college student lol

I love cobras I would go for it. I bought my 01 GT from the original owner and they were in their late 50's and loved to just go drive the car all over the country side. It went to the dealer for every little thing and all maintenance. I have never had any real issue with it in the three years iv'e owned it. Mine had 149K on it and now it's almost 201K. Good luck I hope you get it.

Blower whine is just too damn nice. And the other thing is I've always wanted a cobra and this one would be perfectly affordable. I'm just going to have to check this one out and go from there. I appreciate all the feedback from everyone. If the GT doesn't sell, then I'll just keep it and build it from there.

2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Clean Carfax!!!
that motor doesnt look right... Looks to be replaced with a lincolin motor at some point. Don't mach's have silver covers? I understand they are easy to change, but things like that catch my eyes.

In my area you'd be lucky to get $7000 for it because it's a verte. Northern Minnesota doesn't have a lot of summer time to drive a verte. If you can sell it though good for you.

the price is definitely high on your GT. You might get super lucky and find the right desperate buyer, but just keep in mind that GTs like that over here sell for 4500-5000 all day. I bought mine 3 years ago, with 90k miles for 5400

I see flows under that GT
:dunno

Those are correct valve covers on a mach 1.

If you'll take 10k, I'd remove this part of the ad "Please dont contact me trying to offer me 10 grand and what not." You've spent a decent amount on mods, I hope you find the right buyer...good luck!

I think it probably would be a better idea to lower your asking price to 10k and go as low as $8k then take out a small loan on top for that cobra. If you went as low as 8k then an 8K loan over a few years is pretty cheap still.

Your asking WAY to much for that GT.... Be lucky if you get 8500

Thanks. I recently got stingers welded in. These pictures are from a while back ago. I might just get lucky and fine a desperate buyer. Then again, who knows.. If it happens it happens. It would be nice for everything to role out properly and end up with the cobra :D Thanks for the feedback and support everyone. Max loan I can get on the cobra is 3 years given its age. Payments should be under 250 if it happens

Mines a 3 year loan for about $7500 and it's just over half of $250, I think you'll be fine.
