have this problem.Whenever i step on the gas real hard i get this ticking noise and i have had it to 3 shops.They said there is nothing wrong with it.If its not an exhaust leak what ele could it be? Thanks for the help.

it sounds stupid but it could be a plugged injector.

Could be your valve lashers. Post a sound clip.

Sounds like whoever didnt quite fit the pipes correctly bfore it was bolted on

Could be your cats or the baffles inside the muffler. Hard to tell though without hearing it.

To me it sounds more like a clatter than a tick...wish you would have let it idle a little more in the clip. At idle i didnt hear the noise...to me it sounds more like one of the exhaust hangers or the actual pipe is rubbing up against something.
Do you hear this noise when the car is at idle?

think ya narrowed down the problem yourself.
What kind of exhaust did you get? just a cat back, or everything from the headers back?
i dunno if you have ever taken your exhaust apart before, but on the drivers side there is a bracket used to line everything up...on the passenger side its basically a boot...I'm guessing that at the boot it is not lined up properly...also check to see if your exhaust is rubbing anywhere.
