Is this a four channel amp? I'm no expert, but basically, if it's a 4 channel, you would use the front channel output off the head unit to feed one side of the amp, which in turn feeds your front stage, and then use the rear channel from the head unit to feed the other side of the amp, and that side feeds your subs. You can then use your fader somewhat as a sub level control.
That's why it's great if you can afford an after market head unit, because a decent unit typically has a separate sub level control, and many units will also have sub frequency control.

lol i have tons of aftermarket head units but the thing is none of them turn on the stock amps for the mach system so only voice and some crappy bass comes out of the speakers and they sound like **** therefore i want to use my stock headunit so the mach system amps will turn on and yet still have a sub

Ohhh I see, you're trying to use the factory Mach amps then. In that case I'm in way over my head, as I have no experience with that system. Sorry bro. lol

sorry guys install unsucesful and im so ****en pissed i worked on it the whole morning and i got my amp to turn on and my sub to turn on but only voice was still coming out..i took it to the stereo shop to get it "professionally" doen and the ****en guy just rewires it and tries to blame me for it not working .. he first tried to claim my head unit was bad when it was playing ..then he tried to blame my amp that it was blown when it clearly turns on and is sending power out then he tried saying my sub was blown out ..i \told him off and took off cuz i wasnt paying for the shitty ass job he does when it sounds exaclty the same as when i took it to him.. ****en asshole

k i found a great tutorial online on how to do it ..i used to have mine like this and i guess im gonna have to do this again but yeah it might help a lot of people out

finally got it to work if anyone is planning on doing this it is fairly simple now that i got it figured out just use the guide i posted above this and have fun..if anyone has any questions let me know and ill be more than happy to help and or take pics for refrence
