Here are the pics of the heads I got in one had a broken cam gear. The other must have sit outside cause the cam is rusted beyond use. Was told there was nothing wrong with them after showing him the pics he stated that the broke cam must have happen while shipping(no box damage). And the other one oh yeah my bad(his response). Buyers be advised when purchasing something from this seller.

LOL

box does not need to be damaged for contents inside box to become damaged during shipment across the united states.

cam gears were obviously in good working order, as they had come off my car July 23rd 2013.

heads/cams have 120k+ miles on them from a 2000 Mustang GT. cam gears are press on.

buyer asked prior to purchase, "alright so everything good on heads they are complete and the intake didn't leak correct" "no stripped spark plugs and send me your PayPal info..."
my reply was "everything is good on the heads, no stripped plug holes. no leak on the intake".

followed was a picture of 1 of the heads. the picture i sent was that of the passenger's side. please note that there is NO rust and the cam gear is NOT broken.

according to buyer; "opened up the heads the drivers side cam gear is broke" "didn't open the other box" moments later "open the other one looks like the head has been sitting outside its all rusted".

again these heads have 120k+ miles on them with press on cam gears. the buyer is doing a PI swap for his SN95 GT. i recommended that he clean up the heads and cams and maybe even get the heads ported. replace the press on gears with adjustable cam gears is also what i recommended.

buyer has threatened to open a dispute on PayPal and well obviously already put me on blast here.

buyer agreed to pay $200 flat for heads AND intake. shipping totaled $162.73. i made $37.27 on this sale. obviously i wasn't out to try to stiff someone.

i offered to issue a refund to the buyer if the buyer would like to ship all contents back. buyer's response was "U don't sell people junk knowing its junk box wasn't damaged so seeing the condition of the one I would believe more on the fact it was shipped that way".

Was told the heads were in perfect working condition today so I guess ups is the be blamed for a broken cam gear. Don't know how they got all that rust in the other cam. Doesn't matter how much you make in a deal if you deceive someone.

Yeah you offered me a refund on your junk so I get to loose 160 bucks because your dishonest I will take my chances with PayPal.

They were in perfect working condition; as I had said when I texted you. Yes, UPS is to blame for this.

I do not know how the cam gear broke nor do I know how the cam became rusted. I can only speculate that UPS did a terrible job handling the boxes. Again, even if there is NO damage to the exterior of the box, the contents inside can still be damaged. The rust probably happened due to UPS as well. The oil residue still left in the heads could have splashed on the cams and because I covered the heads in plastic bags to keep any debris from entering, it could have caused rust to form. Again, this is speculation.

I am not out to "deceive" anyone. As I've mentioned twice already; I am willing to refund you. Simply just return EVERYTHING and I will immediately refund you upon arrival of everything.

That is fine; dispute this with PayPal. The problem is that the photo I sent you of the 1 head had no rust, and you sent a photo of the same head with rust. Obviously this is due to shipping and not me, if anything, dispute this with UPS as well. Each item I sent via UPS has a $100 claim value.

And please act more like an adult with this. Accusing me of deceiving you or being dishonest is complete bullshit and utterly immature. I conducted myself in the utmost manor. I gave you one hell of a deal on a complete head and cam package and threw in the intake manifold, pretty much free. I sent you tracking numbers the moment I left the UPS store. I am trying to work with you and offering to refund you.

Aftermarket adjustable cam gears range from $100 and up. I'd recommend going that route.

Man there is no way that amount of rust happens in a week.

Oil is what you use to keep the cams from rusted.
I don't know what to tell you. I sent you that picture on September 25th. Shipped everything out on October 1st and now it is rusted. Both heads were enclosed in these boxes since the removal from my car. They were not exposed to extreme weather either.

Oil is to keep everything lubricated. I don't know if it is suppose to prevent rusting though.

I don't know the conditions that the heads/cams were in when being transported via UPS. Yes, there is no box damage, but the climate changes could have quickened the rate of the rust. I don't know.

The only things that I know is this; heads/cams were in perfect condition when leaving my possession. Sucks I don't have a picture of the head to show you that the cam gear was fine and in working order. However; these heads/cams were working fine when on my car and upon removal, they were stored safely and there was no damage done to them. The way the cam gear broke appears to be due to transportation and not from being strained when driving.

Again was told these were in working order with nothing wrong with them at purchase.

And what do you think you use oil in your engine for.
