why are edelbrock performer and performer RPM heads so much cheaper than say trickflow and AFR? im thinking about getting a set of aluminum heads to replace my 289s
you can land a scat 347 stroker kit for $800...the TFS TW heads for $1286, custom grind comp cam for $269, edelbrock performer rpm air gas for about $200 and a nice holley 650cfm double pumper for bout $350..and can sell all the old stuff and get a couple $100 back..Vinyl66 said:68 302 Block bored .030, comp cam (against not sure which one), 289 heads with the high tension springs, edelbrock performer intake, holly 600 double carb, tri y headers.
the rpm air gap isnt high rise...actually about .5" taller than performer and 250% better than performerVinyl66 said:i could but i can't have a high rise intake. not enough room under the hood and i want the car to look stock from 66
but i am kicking around the idea of stroking it. just tring to figure out my best option for what i want.
