Just if anyone is interested, I was looking around for some A-pillar gauge pods and found a great website. They match the interior of your Mustang and you can add a Raptor Claw shift light on the side of it. Sweeeeeeeeet!

They also watch their web traffic reports like a hawk, and are readily availalbe to answer questions via email or phone. Word is they are pretty OK guys to deal with...

:wink

Thanks for the kind words about my products.

F-in A it is...it was worth getting rid of the little plastic piece of crap I had to graft on for it...plus the shift light that came with it is the bomb, it will blind you at night without the little plastic lens.

Nice! SOS, I will be ordering mine as soon as payday hits in a few days.

Thanks for the link RedFire.

A few more questions guys. Here is what I am thinking about doing in a few weeks. Please let me know if the parts I am thinking about adding will conflict with any other parts on the car. (I.E> Won't fit or won't work together)

I am going to add a Fluidine radiator.
SPEC 3+ clutch kit w/ aluminum flywheel.
Spydershaft driveshaft w/ safety loop.
Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter
SLP Power-Flo Catback

Will these work together? Also, to be below the 500 hp mark, can I tune the car after I have added all of these and cut back the power on the Supercharger to ensure I am under 500 hp?

Another question. In the distant future (4-6 months) I am probably going to upgrade the engine (forged). Since I will have a Whipple, do I have to stay at 4.6L or can I upgrade to a 5.0 or maybe even a 5.4 and have the Whipple run on it? Or is it only compatible with the 4.6?

Thanks for all of your help guys and I will get some pics and vids up as soon as I get the whipple on. 5 more days to go!
:D

everything looks good except for the cat back... you don't put cat-backs on these mustangs, all you need is an axle back. also, none of the other mods yo listed will add hp to the engine, so you wont need a retune.

Ya Jucostud, you are right. The PowerFLo's are axle-back. My bad.

If you puch out your stock internals to a 5.0, you will need a tune, but that's about it...your blower will still work...and you'll get a lot more power with the extra displacement. I don't know if you can get 5.4 liters out of your block...

personally, get the SLP loudmouths over the powerflows. you'll be very pleased with the sound of the loudmouts, especially with a blower. I have it with my whipple and it sounds great!!

When I upgrade, I am probably going to go with a shortblock already built with forged internals from someone like MMR. I know the Whipple says it can get up to 700 hp with full psi and I want to find a block that can handle that much. I was looking at Ford Racing and they have 5.0 aluminum shortblocks, or I could go with the big 5.4 cast iron. Which would be best? I know aluminum is lighter, but with a 5.4 I could add over 80 hp according to MMR. Plus I could get a higher hp support rating out of the 5.4 (900 - 1100). I know its going to be hella expensive considering I'm going to have to add a flywheel, clutch, driveshaft, and gears (anything else I'm vitally missing?) capable of handling that much of torque and hp.

Screw it, you only live once. Might as well add nearly pissing myself going 150 down the road into the equation. ;)

Personally I would go with an aluminum 5.0 because the iron 5.4 are heavy as ****. You would still be able to handle way more than the Whipple can support with the aluminum 302. Keep in mind tht your transmission won't be able to take 700hp, so and another 3k into the equasion.

Hey I just posted a thread on buying a s/c. I was thinking the whipple or procharger. Did you get yours installed ....and if so how much was labor if you don't mind me asking. Have pictures with it in? I'm pretty sure I'll be going the same route as you on this...

Thanks

I have a question to jump into this thread and ask you Whipple wizards.
I was going with a Saleen SC but was recently pushed twards Whipple. A friend of mine here in Louisiana told me I can put a Whipple on my 07 GT and with 4-6 pounds of boost put down 430-440 RWHP ?? Is that true and I will be installing Kooks LT's and Hi flo cats x pipe to go along with my Cervinis side exhaust on the car. Also is it easy to upgrade a Whipple in the future if I ever build a Forged motor?
