I'm thinking I might pic up Glasur for an X-mas present for myself. I just can't use sealants on the warm month. I love to wax, but will not try carnubavore or however he spells it :lmao:

Get glasur man. No regrets there. If i didnt already have 2 zymol waxes id be all over this.

I like wax too. But i freakin LOVE coatings. lol. Im also preferential to black which, IMO, doesnt benefit as much looks wise from wax like warmer colors do. With black i like that Glassy, DEEP, cold look. I think thats very achievable with synthetic stuff.

Most of you guys really have limited your use of wax? Last detail I did on my Mach, I used PowerLock followed by two coast of Zymol Carbon. Is that pointless? haha
No man, having a layer of wax over your powerlock has a few benefits for sure. 1, its another layer of protection, 2- itll prevent powerlock from spotting as easily as sealants do, and 3- add a little more depth and wetness to that DSG.

I dont use wax much because most of my clients cars are driven often so they get sealed or coated, which makes more sense.

Synthetic stuff has come a super long way, wax no longer has THAT much of a looks or hydrophobic advantage over sealants anymore. I think most people who wax LIKE to wax. Perp is a good example, he is the nuba guy round these parts lol.

No no, I dont use them as often thats all. Ive waxed 2 clients cars this year. Both were garage queens.

Wax is great, the biggest downfall of it is the longevity, but like i said before, most people who wax dont care about longevity and enjoy waxing. I do enjoy waxing, I just enjoy trying new synthetic cool **** more lol.

Im a bead whore, if it beads, i like, if its slick, i like. Thats why i love coatings, the water and dirt resistance is incredible.

I gotcha. I thought y'all were saying you don't use waxes anymore as if they've become obsolete.
Will waxes ever become obsolete I doubt it. I do use a sealnat in the winter month though. I love waxing my vehicles just not in below freezing temps in the winter. Sealants offer more longevity, but depending on what color your paint is, there is nothing better than a good nuba.

I love my glasur. 3 or 4 tubs of it in the fridge right now

^ Damn Chris, talk about stocking up LOL, Have yet to try out zymol products yet. The only wax I use still is Autoglym High Definition on my girlfriends Scion TC but its a hybrid which is why I still like using it. Other than that I stick to sealants and coatings due to my location

IME, Zymol Glasur, with all its natural ingredients is very durable, beads like CRAZY, easy to use, isnt sensitive to temperature (cold weather applications). One of the best Nubas ive ever used. If you want a cheaper option Carbon is great too.

I only own 3 fullsize tubs of wax. 2 of them are Zymol. lol

I bought more Zymol
