I will try and go to Harbor Freight tomorrow after work and get a low profile jack. If they have em. Oh and I do have an air compressor as well.
Yeah I have one from them. Has been great nearly a year later. I just got the 1 and a 1/2 ton one myself.

I do not have one. My electric impact was able to break that stupid UCA bolt free from Ford.

Might wanna pick up some blue loctite if you think about it. I don't have any or I'd bring some.

Yeah, Loctite is on my list. Will I need to buy any grease from an auto parts store? If so what kind?

yessir, we gonna need some grease! Synthetic is best. Not sure you are gonna find that anywhere tho.

Nothing lithium based. What I used last time and seemed to work perfectly fine, was the grease autozone/advance/etc. sells for Ford cars. It specifically says for Ford/Mercury/Lincoln/etc.

Also, for a grease gun, a flexible hose...is your best friend. When you see how the UCA sits, you'll understand.

lol yuuuuup. Like $20 at advance/autozone/etc.

You have to grease the BMR bushings on initital install, after 500 miles and then every oil change.

Welcome to aftermarket parts. :D
HAHA okay. So that's a low profile jack with jack stands, Ford grease and grease gun, and blue Loctite. Oh and be sure to bring your RED Key....

yep!

haha I don't have the track key installed. Was going to be about $300 with them discounting it. For $250 I can have AED tune it and will do so when the weather is nicer. Focusing on getting these new rims on the car first.

Oh gotcha. The Boss has plenty of power right outta the box. Rims first. Do you have any take offs from the other mustang?

what I didn't sell and kept to go on the boss. In the garage I have,

Koni Yellows
BMR LCA + relos
BMR UCA + bracket
MM CC plates
Whiteline front sway

Waiting to pick up Ford T springs and Whiteline Wattslink before installing the suspension.

Everything else has been sold.

Oh okay. You said you got your rims in? I could have probably gotten you some Vossens.

Used or new? I got a fantastic deal from Jason. The vossens are always sold in 20s and I don't really want 20s. I went with 19s as I like the looks, but it was reallllly hard not to do 18X10 forgestars on all four corners for the weight savings.

I went with Avant Garde M550 19X9.5 all four corners.

I have a buyer for my boss rims and tires which gets me tires for the new rims, he just apparently has to sell a gun he doesn't want anymore first. Going to be hard to wait the 2 weeks he is talking.

Half tempted to swap the tires to the Avant Gardes and then swap them back when he is ready so I don't feel rushed. Depends on how much a local shop will swap them over for.

Shouldn't be too much I wouldn't think. And they would be new. But nobody wants the price tag that comes with em. I've yet to see a mustang sitting flush on these Vossens. Can't wait to get everything on.

The CV3s are one of my favorite wheels. Just not super light. I haven't weighed the wheels I got yet, but if I remember right they are about 26lbs. I would have been near 20lbs with the 18X10 forgestars.

Almost went with the enkies too which are like 19 lbs for the 18X9.5 I think. :bash:

Mine feel light compared to what im used to. I've got some chrome 20" Boss rims for my F-150. Pretty heavy. But im not worried about weight. I don't race it or anything.

Saturday sounds good if everything is in. After reading through the last few posts from today it sounds like everything has been covered lol. Feel like I'm not contribootin much ;-P

Did you see the facebook post? I picked up flow formed Gram Light 57DR's in 18's. They weigh in at 18lbs and I'm wrapping them in 285/35 Michelin PSS, I'm super pumped on these!
