Like I said before though I value many opinions over just one. Anyone else out their with a 96-98 w/ similar setup?

To the track and dyno she goes :swordfight::swordfight::3gears

You're no where near that power level with your mods. I'd be surprised if it made 300. Keep in mind 03-04 Mach 1's with the same mods make just over 300 RWHP and they have much better heads/intake.

I still stand by the 270-280ish range. Think of a 96-98 4V in N/A form like a 99-04 2V. Power #'s with simple bolt-ons are quite similar. Where as the 4V picks up a bit more in the upper RPM's.

I Disagree. 4vs are known to allow greater horse power gains over 2v's with the same mods.... are you familiar the 96-98?

Try not to get wrapped up in dyno numbers either. They are just that - numbers. You ET is what matters.

I am quite familiar with the crappy B headed 4-valves.
I see now that your lack of respect for the 96-98 cobra is what is determining your estimated poor numbers.

I wish another 96-98 cobra owner(s) would get in here and back me up on this...these cars are cobras... B heads or not they kick ass and your under estimating them. Flow on the 99-01 once recall was done was only about a 20hp difference and that was to make up for the weight added with IRS. I understand you love your body style I respect the new edge just as much as the 96-98s.. infact I liked the new edges before I liked the 96-98s but seriously your lack of credibility towards the 96-98 shocks me.

LOL, just because my opinion of the B heads isn't high dosen't mean I don't like the 96-98 cars. The info I am giving you has nothing to do with my opinion of the B heads. Its based on facts and experience with these cars.

Obviously the 99-01 heads are better...not by much so it doesn't make a difference its only a 20hp gain and the extra weight from irs balances everything out so I do not under stand your B head crappy 4 valve reference at all when comparing with a 99-01 COBRA...also 99-01 gt 2v does not accept mods as well as a 98 cobra 4 valve so I do not under stand your references at all...... It seems to me like you keep trying to put the 96-98 cobra and its "crappy B headed 4-valves" down

You didn't list your location so that will vary time wise at the track.

13.60's-13.30's depending on driver skill. On your gears I would lean more towards 3.73's which isn't the greatest gear for those b head cars.

Its probably making around 270-280ish to the wheels.
Ill give you a few examples (not all) that makes me question your knowledge on the 96-98 cobra...

If you are aware of the stock 96-98 cobra times form I showed you on the first page and people were getting 13.7-13.5 stock and 13.3 with low grade tires and gears what makes you think that its running in the stock time area still I don't get it? Is it hard to believe that this car would run close with your own with less modification?

Also your saying 270 to the wheels but this car is way faster then the 03 stock mach 1 the owner of the mach1 one him self has said that the cobra is way faster then the mach and his dyno'd at 273 so once again I still feel that your under estimating or the area you live in is causing your cars to go slower???

I'm not going to argue with you anymore. Not all cars are the same, not all of them are going to run the same #'s. That pertains to not only the car but also other factors.

You can pull on a stock mach 1. Big whoop, that dosen't mean you run anywhere in the 12's let alone make north of 350 RWHP. I'd almost venture to guess that the Mach 1 you keep bringing up is an auto. But if we get into that you will just tell me how I am wrong from there.

You keep asking for others to chime in and dis-agree with what I have posted so why don't you just wait for that.

It was manual lol

North of 350RWHP???!?!?
If you were listening all ive been trying to say was with all the mods out put would be at about an advertised 405 total hp. With False advertising that number is approx. 375-380... between 325 and 330 RWHP Now with the added suspension control arms tires clutch flywheel short shifter etc the car hooks and books this throws it into the 12s im sure. I will PM you the day it does to the track I promise....Maybe your times are off due to climate difference??

and I will wait for others opinions, not like this isn't a private message lol.
