I bite the bullit in order darkstar form American muscle since they have a bomb deal on them. My question is what should I run for tires on the front? Be my track set up or street when I got a race I need to hook. Rear will be a Hoosier dr 325/50r15 I'm thinking.

Would a regular street tire work? Same 185/55/17 or a 195/17...would it fit? What's the reasoning if it wouldn't?http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hoo-19055/overview/

185/55 will fit but some of the 195 won't bc of the section width (inside to outside). They tell on the link. Look at section width & minimum wheel size, anything for a 5 should be fine also.

Why do you feel you need a 325 tire? There's guys with a lot more power hooking on a 275.. If you can't hook on one of those sounds like you need better suspension

I'm guessing your talking about a tire with a 5.5 minimum rim width but using the 4.5. I'd personally do it & it'll fit. It may bulge a little bit though. I like that look and the added rim protection from curbs. Since I have been known to daydream & curb one a little. Did it in my Lancer GT on 18s with flat sidewalled tires. :facepalm: Still mad about it & that was a year ago!

Yes that's exactly what I was talking about. I am planning on going that route just haven't seen anyone else do it
Wanted to make sure I wasn't buying the tires only to find they won't work

All I suggest is check the wear pattern & make adjustments to the tire pressure as needed until they wear even. Your only riding on a little bit of tire so you want it to react good & as expected.
