I was just wondering what's involved with getting cut outs. Could a shop make them or would you need to buy some?

the only way you can burn a valve is open headers on shorties, if you have LT's then its ok to run open

You can kinda tell in this video. I just unbolt them at the catback and zip tie the cat back to the subframes. I think there is a little high end HP gain by doing this on my car, but I don't know what gain you would get n/a if you do it before the x.
It is very loud, even after the x though.

It's all good just a bit history, they were like cool in the 50/60s just like a spark plug in the tail pipe. you turned the car off with the clutch in so fuel would build up, turned it back on and hit a the button that fired the plug and you got like an after burnner out the tail pipe.

WTF R YOU TALKING ABOUT? THEY EFFECT FLOW WHEN THEY R CLOSED! HAVEN YOU SEEN THEM? THEY HAVE A Y THAT IS AT LEAST AN INCH LONG, THEN A CAP. THE EXHAUST PIPE USES THAT AS AN EXPANSION CHAMBER... JC NEXT TIME LOOK, THEN THINK, THEN MAKE UP SOME ****
