:confused:i like the interior the best of the car
very clean
I like it too, I'm just saying its not spectacular. No Nav, No heated seats, No wooden dash, No on star even if I wanted it (which I don't, in fact I don't want any of these extras I'm just saying cars with those types of things have spectacular interiors). Bentleys have spectacular interiors, GTOs have good ones.

EDIT:Also i picked you over the GTO.

...
Its a modern day muscle car that is meant to reflect on the Goats of yester-year... they weren't exactely bentleys back then and they aren't going to be bentleys today...

I would still love to have one though

well i hope GM and Pontiac follow through with this...who needs the GTO when the Trans Am is thrown back into the mix...if this goes through plus the new camaro runnin around, ford better start steppin up in their mustang design, i mean their italian/exotic concept just really doesnt scream bad ass(espicially the interior)....my opinion at least

:cool:thank you
well as far as wooden dash an all i think thats already like as you mentioned bently status. it'd be a nice adition but i like the interior on the GTO none the less. then engine bay also looks clean but cramped kinda.

I was gonna probably say him until I saw that you had the 8.8 done, and with that I'm assuming an LSD?

Cramped? You know I never thought so...until yesterday when I installed the catch can, and I have 5 cuts on my hand to prove it.

lol you can usually tell when someone has been workin on their car, they'll have at least 1-2 scratches on the hand, and a lil nick of skin missing on a knuckle or that part where your finger bends

the 8.8 im shopping for after xmas. to many gifts
but i'll be doing 8.8 and 31spline axles and 31spline ausborn. i was going to do my lower intake but being safe and driving is more important. i wont trust the stock weak 28spline axles
and my 7.5 lol im surprised its still alive. but i havent done too hard of launches on it. im trying to kinda avoid the track but its fun.:D
and i dont really promote street racing at all. but w/e what can you do. i see it like this if you street race on a road thats not so traveled and when done theres no one on it or everyone is to far to be in danger, its ok, the only risk is yourself. which you run that risk at the track anyway but you got the ambulance right there at the track and people to help you. in a street race i trust no one
in general i trust no one with my car.
i'd wouldnt trust any one in my tech class with tightening any bolt on my car. id check it before i moved on:D

but yes 8.8 31spline for the race

also the gears i use i may keep secret..i doubt it. seeing that i think 3.73s are a bit much but idk. 3.55s i'll probably do though or 3.73s
this way when i build my engine i can take the gears out and rebuilt the posi and swap back to stock gears

once i get outta the hole, all else is doom  just like everyone who likes racing from a 20 roll is like heaven for me. i rip the **** outta first then thats usually it from there.
when you coming over to oklahoma to prove this? :D

Because of course the GTO is a dog because it weighs so much, oh and can't forget about the GT500 it weighs like 3900 pounds, slow ass hell that wouldn't be worth the time to mod, or those damn terminators weighing around 3700lbs can't they just stay in the slow lane? *sarcasm over*

Heavy does not equal slow, and light does not equal fast. Case in point Geo weighs 1800lbs Bugatti weighs 4000lbs.
Hey, why don't you put words in my mouth and misconstrue what I said?

Yes, the Terminators and GT500's are pigs, too, weight-wise. Never said they weren't. In fact, that's one of the reasons GT500's don't really do anything for me. Too dang heavy.

Secondly, I never said heavy cars can't be fast, either. Of course they can. However, it's no secret that the LS1 F-body's and '04 GTO's shared the same engine, and that even the LS1 GTO's are only slightly faster than the LS1 F-body's, if at all. Thus, my point that if all I wanted to do was go fast, and I wasn't worried about interiors, etc, I might go with an LS1 F-body instead of paying EXTRA for a heavier GTO w/ the same engine and a nicer interior.

If you notice, I complemented the GTO on the relative quality of it's interior, fit and finish, etc. BUT, some people would rather have a not-as-nice car that weighs less, for less money, than spend the money and weight on a GTO. It's as simple as personal preference.

so yeah, you got a v6 mustang instead of going either way?
Why don't show me all the new cars in 2000 that cost $13,000, and were faster than a 5-speed V6 Mustang. Good luck with that.

BTW, there's a 375whp Bullitt parked next to the V6, and a ~2700lb Foxbody Notch in the driveway as well.

What all is done to it?
MAC exhaust and a Vortech @ 8-9psi

BTW, what's your 2V look like? I may have seen you around town (depending on where you live, too, obviously)
