Hitting a curb even at low speed can bend an axle or even the frame, depending on the angle of impact. I know because I've done it. The car is not meant to do certain things, curb hopping being one of them.

Joe, when you're young, you **** up and make mistakes, it's part of life. Most of us have been there and done that, that's how come we know now what we thought we knew back when we didn't know what we thought we know. You know? lol.

Bottom line, learn from your mistakes, and if us old guys give you the business for it, try not to take it personally, just try and learn from it all so you don't make the same mistakes again. You know? :p

Joe this has been said a thousand times in this thread already but, you were responcible for the damage, therefore you pay to fix it. If you were like 1FF and the dealer didnt put the oil back in the motor, its their fault and they pay. See how it works.

I AM A ASSHOLE WHO IS 18 AND CRASHES ALOT....

I PAID 1561,25 or something lol... HAPPY

CAUSE I AM...I LEARNED MUSTANGS HAVE CHANGED FROM THE 60's and 70's when they could be used as rally cars lol.....

Next Thing I should test is how deep of water the stang could take...
The V6 took "MAYBE" a foot and half in a flood storm we had up here last year...

Can we kill this thread I am tired of reading over my annoying posts...

I Need too still get those pictures of where I Accidently jump the car....

Just for the sheer fun of it and the fact i like to argue ill play the devils advocate.

1. For those of you saying take care of the dealership and they will take care of you. I did take care of them when i bought the car. I dont owe them anymore, they owe me now. I am glad some of you have such open honest and close relationships with the service department of your dealership. I think that half of them are clowns anyway. They ****ed my lug nuts up last week by tightening them so tight that i had to rent an compressor and use an airgun to take them off and it still took an hour. plus when takeing the lock nuts off by hand they were also so tight i broke one and strip the key on the other. dealer didnt do anything for me but tell me where to buy a new set of lock nuts.

2. For the usuall supsects on here whineing about how this kid didnt have to pay for his car and you saved blah blah blah. If you live at home and your parents are putting the roof over your head and food on your table and buying your clothes and paying for your electritcity and water and health care. The only way you could afford your car is becuase your parents are supporting you in every other way. Your getting a ****ing free ride too so stop hatin and congratulate. Maybe the people that dont live at home should just say we deserve our mustang more than anyone who is in school or living at home. Maybe on top of that i should say if you work for someone else and get paid an hourly wage and dont own your own business that you probably screw off half the day anyway while you are on the clock and therefore since i gotta "kill what i eat" i work harder than you and deserve my stang more than all of you. its stupid

That said i do agree that the kid shouldnt lie about the accident. He ask what he could do, i said not much but his only options were to call ford or threaten the dealership, neither one would have probably gotten him anywhere.

Garuntee if most of you guys on here with these after market tunes on your car were to have an engine problem you would be reflashing the pcm stock and lying your asses off to the dealership about it.

Lets not sit to high on our holyier than though horse with the young lad.

Flame me now im bored. :cool:

My car is ****ed up and the only mod I have is the Short throw... been 7 months since I reported the defroster issue, and still nothing... and I seem to have some electrical gremlins... with the Fuel gauge goin out and the speedo reporting 2 miles over whenever it feels like it...

Which reminds me

*grabs phone and calls ford to check defroster status again*

How many dealerships are there in PR? Scratch that....How many service techs are there in PR? In the immortal words of the late Sam Kinneson:

I second the motion, you ponied up and paid out of the pocket so what's left to discuss? (besides the fact that Zippee is beating 07stanggt with the only thing HMUSN came in here to see....)

Now make with some wreckage pics so we can point and laugh! :laughat
