it does use a 7.0 but it is a nasty ass car non the less, ford was supposed to come out with a 600HP naturally aspirated stang but it never happened, and 3450, is one light GT500, lightest ive ever seen, i think thats lighter then my mach 1
He's talkin' about an s-197, not a GT500

one day i will take down a ZR1 or whatever the hell it is, maybe not with the mach lol maybe with another car thats a full drag car, but non the less maybe one day when theres prob gonna be a sicker version of the vette out but at least ill take down the ZR1 lol well one can dream
 
It won't take that much to beat one. Just strip your car down to under 2900 lbs add a full drag suspension and a nice power adder and that should get you well into the mid 10's.
 
Gt500

from what i hear KN has an intake that does 53 horse on a GT500, so that plus full exhaust and a pulley and those things have to sail, not to mention MMFF did a test on one with a KB and it resonded to the blower as well as a car that was NA that got a blower strapped to it, so it has to be a damn good motor, that plus full suspesion, heads, and gears and those things have to be quite ridiclous not to mention cams

Never trust numbers companies throw out for their products, they do it under very sketchy circumstances to achieve maximum results. I mean it will pick up plenty, but not 53, not even half of that without a tune. Throw in a pulley swap and then its probably considerably more than 53, but 53 from just a CAI is major :bs.

i know it seems ridicioulous but i didnt thin k&N would lie i mean, they do admit there intake for the ford fusion or focus or something only gives 6HP, but 53 does seem extreme, but i do beleive 03 cobras get 23 HP from a intake and i do beleive that was dyno tested, cant say from personal experience thu

yeah and have you seen the videos of the kb gt500 vs a c6 zo6 that had headers and a tune, the zo6 ran away from it. it is a damn good motor, but the car leaves a lot to be desired.

and if you built your car to outrun the zr1 in a straightline, you wouldnt be able to touch it any of the other catagories that the zr1 is built to run in
