Hello all,
Been awhile since I have been here from the last sell of my past SN95 GT VERT. I just bought a 1998 Cobra with Kenna Bell supercharger, NOS system, methanol injection, fully forged engine. The engine was built to boost with Twin Turbos so it has dished pistons. Dyno'd 325hp at the rear wheel (dished piston lowered hp a little) The Kenne bell is running 10psi. Tranny is a 5 speed with short throw shifter. I'll put some pics up later today - I just picked the car up last night and it was dark when I got it home. Man this thing moves. Definitely liking the Cobra. Pics after work :)

I'm assuming the 325 is without the blower??

Congrats, but you have some work ahead of you. That combination should have no trouble producing at least 450 rwhp. The last time mine was on a dyno it made 478 rwhp/390 rwtq through a 4R70W and IRS, and the car has since dropped over four tenths off the E.T. and picked up almost four MPH at the traps through further tuning. That's another B-head Kenne Bell at 10 psi of boost with meth/water injection, 8.9:1 CR, with a 3.75" stroke crank (298 c.i.).

The HP at 325 rwhp does sound a little low but the Dished pistons have lowered the compression ratio and lowered the horsepower as well. But with the NOS the dyno results were 510 rwhp and 633 ft/lb of torque. Since I just got the car I am still getting used to it so I haven't even touched the bottle yet. The engine is a 4v motor - actually the original one. It was rebuilt for the twin turbo application as was spec'd to hit the 1000 hp range with that setup. Even with just the supercharger it feels pretty strong to me. I'll post up the exact pistons used - I just need to look thru the folder of receipts I got with the car. The SN95 with the
4v motor is just an awesome combination :)

The car looks clean! I do agree though I would definitely be expecting more HP to the wheels. You mentioned 510 on the bottle, that's quite a jump from 325, I would assume your spraying 200 to get that?

The example I referenced above also has dished pistons (-18cc) to drop the CR down to 8.9:1.

That is interesting about the dished pistons on yours. I have a feeling the rwhp is a little higher than 325 it sure feels like it under acceleration. The other factor may be that here in Albuquerque, NM we are 5200 ft above sea level - thin air up here - we lose a whole second on the 1/4 mile from sea level up here.

Thanks for the comparison Tang Stang

I feel like a newbie saying this but I need to look at the bottle and orifice's to see what spray is going into the intake. I'm not sure if it is 100, 150, 200 shot of NOS. My work hours keep me from taking the time to Look. This weekend I'll have more time to "take inventory" on what I have. I'll determine what I have. The weird thing is I have dyno sheets on the HP with supercharger and with supercharger/nos and it says 325 rwhp.

Take a look at the dyno sheets and you'll see that the output will have been corrected per either the SAE or STD standard.
