Fog Light switch different between years?

Got a replacement for my fog light swithc...

Stock:

Replacement from a totaled car. Where is the difference coming from?

What are those bottom 3 buttons for that my car doesn't have?

It's for the message center. 10-12 cars had them in the headlight switch, 13-14s have them in the steering wheel (the ok and directional buttons).

The headlight switch should be the same plug in, just has the extra buttons on the bottom.
