ok, weve been negotiating. i spoke with my mechanic and called the seller. i offered him 2500. he talked to someone, called me back and said 2700 was rock bottom.
what should i do now, should i accept, try to knock another hundred off. idk please help!
thanks

Its a good idea to look on autotrader. I found a 2004 v6 auto with 17000 miles and 1 1/2 years of warranty left for 12,000. It looks brand new, inside and out. I would keep looking for something with less work and that wont cost half as much as you are going to pay for the car just to fix it.

dont get it man. nothing like getting a car and right off the bat having fix stuff. its expensive and aggravating. i got a good deal on my 2000 v6 mustang with 73k miles, 5 spd. it needed a new hood(i got one from a friend for $75 perfect condition) and a little bondo work and rear quarter panel. i saw it on autotrader and called the lady. it had been up 30 minutes. i met her the next day and handed over $4000 cash. i still think it was a good deal despite 3 weeks into having it i had to put a new clutch in. but that cost me about $300 with me installing it myself. so just keep looking. it took me over 6 months to find my first car. the longer you wait. the better chance you have of getting what you want.

lol i resurected another old thread... im bad about that.
