If you put stickers they are worth more...

Whos going to tune it?

DTP?

Yeah, DTP. but they will be on towards the end of the season as I am going to be using the money i make playing shows with the band to get them and the tune.

i just hope DTP gives me unlocked tunes so i can put them on my computer.

Brent said my tune will be about $400...

Nah Im good...If I cant drive there I would not really want to go...Plus the wifes BDay is the fallowing week...
yeah, it's kinda lame going to a Mustang event or meet or something without your Mustang. not that i've ever done that before...:yes

is that with him helping?? cuz i know they charge more when they help tune it
$400 is them tuning it...I might have to take out the chip but thats it...They are not doing any work on it...

Dammit I just remembered I need a damn KB Boost-A-Pump...

Yeah I hear ya...But at least ya had a comfy chair...

i just wish they would do a dyno day that we could all go to just so i can see if the AF is ok with the new plugs and crap. who the hell knows what those "wrong" plugs were doing to everything. just trying to be safe with it.

my tune should be fine. will the LT's make it to where i will need to get it retuned?

They should...I drove mine without a tune...It was just kinda funky...I drove mine for like a week or so with the longtubes and no tune...

true. chair was comfy and lots of real nice cars that day. i just felt kinda left out, like the kid who wakes up on Christmas morning to see a ton of presents under the tree, only none of them are for him...:sorry
are you ever gonna get the car back??
hopefully soon. i think it depends on when Brendan gets his car back, since his stuff is cock blocking me rebuild...
i sent Rick a PM a few days ago, but i haven't heard back...

it should be fine. right before all the crap with my car happened, i bought an X-Cal2. the tune on it included the longtubes. i didn't put it on before my car went down cause i didn't have the lt's installed yet. but once i get it back from Rick, i'll be loading that tune. then once the bottom end is broken in, i'll be going to DTP for a dyno tune...
btw, i don't know what kinds of headers you're going with, but if you're interested, i got the Mac non-ceramic coated and took them to Vanwin to get flame sprayed. i got the headers from AM when they had their big Mac blowout. i think i got them for like 250 or something, then the work at Vanwin ran me 175 i think. all in all, i paid less than i would have if i had gone with ceramics from the start. and Vanwin did a great job, and a pretty fast turn around, too...

damn just 175 for the coating?? I see longtubes in my future...

yeah. it's not a ceramic coating, though. flame spraying is a little different
Thermal Spray
Vanwin
i just called up Vanwin and talked to them about my options and said they don't ceramic coat headers, they use flame spray instead. it actually works a bit better. Vanwin gets contracts from the company i work for, so i knew they do good work...

haven't heard much about the Flowtechs. i'd probably stick with someone like Mac or BBK. they'll be a little more expensive, depending on where you get them from, but i believe they're better quality...
