i thinking NOS what should i go with for a first timmer car is full bolt on with 410s and cams. just want to be safe
+1I would search for a used kit... you can easily get a bottle, brackets, line, and solenoids for dirt cheap from someone trying to get rid of it. You might even stumble across a bottle heater and purge also. For whatever reason, nitrous kits don't seem to have high resell values.
I would also look for a used kit if I ever went nitrous again. I wound up selling my old kit on craigslist with two 1/2 full bottles, three extra solenoids (purging), heater, remote bottle opener, msd window switch, electric pressure gauge, bottle filters, etc. etc. for just $400. It was about $2K worth of stuff new, and I didn't get a serious buyer for the longest time. There are very few people that are serious about buying a nitrous kit, so you can get awesome deals used.I would search for a used kit... you can easily get a bottle, brackets, line, and solenoids for dirt cheap from someone trying to get rid of it. I am done with nitrous. I have a zex wet kit with 175 shot jets I would sell. needs a window switch (mine does not work right).cool thanks man i will look into nitrous some more for prices
:lmaoMay I suggest using nitrous instead on NOS when referring to a nitrous oxide power adder. NOS is a name brand, and carries the burden of the Fast and Furious morons.
I'd start with a 75-125 shot. Nitrous Express and Zex have some excellent kits available. The Zex kits are pretty cool, they have a nitrous controller that is easy to use and provides some flexibility.
